Ford Falcon 200 six cylinder engine build

http://www.MyRideisMe.com builds a six cylinder Ford engine, step by step. With guidance from my pops, a retired Ford mechanic, he shows me how, then I give it my best shot, not always successful the first time, I hope everyone interested in building their own engine can learn a little something.

Vintage Hot Rod Straight 6 [S3 Ep.11-1]
Everybody knows that the engine is a central key component to ANY Hot Rod project. But is a V8 the only way to go? NO WAY!! Stacey shows you why. He takes a vintage straight six engine that has been sleeping in a crate for almost 40 years and he puts on the right pieces. He shows you why the straight six was a force to be reckoned with in the early days of hot rodding. After that, Stacey jumps into the tips and tricks of how to paint your own true Kandy paint job. If you are into vintage Hot Rods, Kandy paint, and multi-carbs? You don't need to go on a diet... you just need to watch GearZ!!!

Blueprint 106 - Cylinder Bore Inspection
We're close to the end of the 100-level series. In this video I show you how to measure the cylinder bores using 2 different tools. I compare the results and illustrate what to look for to determine whether or not your engine is in-spec. The block I'm using is a 6-bolt turbo 4g63 from early '92. It has 150,000 miles and this video also serves as a testimony for the durability of Mitsubishi's cast-iron solid-decked Sirius I engines. This engine will be cut for a new set of pistons, so these measurements are needed to determine what size pistons I need to get. .030" is as far overbored as you should ever take a 4g63. Boring larger than that will take too much off the side clearances between the cylinder walls and result in compromised strength from hot spots. The only time you'll ever need to cut a bigger hole is when an imperfection prevents you from using the pistons you have, or if you're changing to a larger piston. If you cut the block to its service limit, you have no room to fix an imperfection should one develop... so it's best to cut as little as you can get away with. Boring a cylinder .020" over does not significantly increase its displacement.

HPF BMW Engine Build Project
Was given the opportunity to do a project for the Company where we portray how we are capable of building 1000 RWHP race engines. This is Part 3 of 4 total videos of this project. Please take the opportunity to watch all videos (its a little over 40 mins total of video!) to see my work and learn a little about engine builds hehe. Shot with the T2i with the 50mm f1.8 lens. Had turn it up to f2.0 in most (if not all) the shots just because the Bokeh overpowered a lot of the scenes. Probably should of went higher in some scenes as well. Edited was done in FCP with a very minor color correction. Music is by an Artist named Winkz. Thank you so much for allowing us to use your work and please support this guy. I will definitely be using more of his songs in future videos because they are simply great songs. Check out his page: http://www.myspace.com/winkzmusic Buy his music: http://itunes.apple.com/us/artist/winkz/id363268264 Thanks for checking out the Video and as mentioned, please check out Parts 1, 2, and 4.

132887 / 1965 Ford Falcon Futura
For more information on this vehicle visit http://tinyurl.com/87wdldx If you're looking for a fun classic that is as unique as it is cool, this impressive '65 Ford is the incredible value you've been waiting for! When this striking Futura rolled into our showroom, one thing was immediately apparent. The quality of its restoration is top notch in every way; and whoever spent the time hammering its solid body back into shape has either spent most of their adult life in a body shop or restored more than their fair share of second generation Falcons. From the top of its smooth roof to the bottom of its cool Turquoise body, this car is much straighter than when it rolled out of Ford's Lorain, Ohio manufacturing facility and features a great looking coat of urethane paint which displays virtually no flaws. The car's reliable but basic 6-cylinder engine was swapped for a larger 351 Cleveland four valve V8 that looks great covered in a thick coat of traditional Ford Blue paint. And its clean engine bay was fitted with an assortment of dress up pieces, which range from gray hood hardware to polished stainless fuel lines, and then refinished in the same slick Turquoise urethane as its glossy exterior panels. The 351 gets its air and fuel from an Offenhauser aluminum intake which props a Holley 4-barrel carburetor below a chrome topped, satin black dual snorkel air cleaner. Fire is provided by a traditional points distributor that sends spark through eight Autolite Pro Fit premium plug wires which snake around finned aluminum Ford Racing valve covers. And cooling is provided by a Northern aluminum radiator which is complete with both a polished cap and a polished overflow tank. Motivation is provided by a reliable Ford C6 3-speed automatic transmission and a traditional Ford nine inch rear end. Steering is provided by a traditional manual rack which gives the car a unique, vintage feel. And braking is provided by a combination of manual front discs and manual rear drums which do an excellent job of providing fade free, drama free stops. Keeping the car firmly planted on the pavement is a nice set of Halibrand 15 inch Five Spoke wheels which ride on 195/65 Hankook radials up front, and 215/70 Cordovan Centron radials out back. And overall, the bottom of this Falcon presents very well with solid floors that display no signs of rust, a straight frame that shows no indication of damage, and a slew of road ready parts that all function just as they should. This cool Falcon's tasteful and comfortable two-tone blue interior is a classy reminder of the days when style and appeal were the central focus of automotive design. At the front of the car, rebuilt factory gauges ride inside a fully restored dash which hangs pristine stainless trim above a set of modern, chrome trimmed auxiliary gauges and a chrome shifter that's complete with an awesome piston shift knob. At the sides of the car, great looking two-tone door panels wrap like-new vinyl around restored, stainless trimmed armrests, fresh chrome handles for the doors and windows and correct chrome emblems. And in the middle of the car, completely rebuilt and recovered two-tone blue bench seats provide the perfect spot for main street cruise nights. In front of those seats, a correctly restored steering wheel holds a chrome horn button above a chrome turn signal stalk and a large, column mounted Sunpro tachometer. Below the seats, excellent looking dark blue carpet rides under color-matched floor mats. And above the seats a like-new tan headliner leads the eye from chrome A-pillar covers and a flame embossed rearview mirror to a straight and fade-free package tray which hangs two speakers over a fully restored trunk. Solid, well-done early 60s metal like this doesn't come along too often, and given the attention it draws in our showroom, it won't last long either!
