Dieser Karmann Ghia entstand in einer Nacht und Nebel Aktion. Eigentlich war der Motor für ein anderes Fahrzeug gedacht. Wie man sieht verleiht dieser Motor auch dem Karmann excellente Fahrleistungen. Die 1/4 Meile wird in 15.8 sec. gefahren.

First time starting up the 2333 cc engine (91x84mm) that I installed in my wife's freshly restored 1971 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia convertible. Yes, I know my coil is installed upside-down. The after-market wire harness was installed with too little slack to reach a downward-pointing coil. This is temporary.

Edmondson Karmann Ghia Judson Supercharger brought to life
This is the Edmondson Karmann Ghia being reunited with it's original Judson Supercharger. The original Supercharger was in the hands of a collector in North Carolina. It was found in March, 2011. After many years of being separated the 2 have found each other. The current plan with the Eddy is to get it back into 1/4 mile race trim, official "fighting weight" as it was back in its heyday.
