It's been in the works for awhile now, as a replacement to the tired Aveo. On that front, it now sport multiple futuristic design cues, and all new features. Many of these highly unique aspects are explained throughout this complete review of the vehicle.
This review consists of explaining many unique features and aspects of the overall car, complete with a demonstration of the engine, through the start up process, which in this case does include a remote start demonstration. This Sonic has the 138 HP 1.8L DOHC 4 Cyl & it's paired to a 6 speed auto.
The Sonic has quite a large engine considering it's a sub-compact. Though I feel this to be a rather unrefined engine. A tad on the buzzy side & somewhat excessively noisy at idle which concerns me. Not sure if it's this car or normal operation of this engine. It's quite comfortable up in front but the back seat is off limits for tall passenger. I really hope running into the hatch version next.
