XY GTHO Phase 3 Group Nc new build racecar with quad IDF Webers - dyno pull.
Sneak preview of my new quad IDF webered racecar. The engine is a fairly stock 351c with a hyd cam and 302c closed chamber heads. Produced 251 HP & 270 Ft Lb at the treads. Turns out the miss at low RPM and the tappet sound was a partially broken rocker. Race engine coming later this year.

consistant lap times & to not go under 1.20 or you get sent home packing.
Car laps in at 1.17 so detune the engine a bit & have a bit of good old
xe falcon quad webers, varex exhaust
xe falcon varex Exhaust, pacemakers
headers, twin 3 inch, pacemaker x pipe, into twin varex mufflers with 4 1/2
inch tips. Motor has crow solid cam, quad 48mm webers, ported 2v heads,
crane roller rockers, and a whole lot more. Built by Brad's Garage, Exhaust by mountain mufflers.
Falcon XY GTHO Group Nc race car, rear suspension lateral movement. Does it need a panhard
I wanted to prove if with a leaf spring setup on my race car I needed a
panhard bar or watts linkage for lateral diff housing location, so I put a
camera under the car to prove it. The springs have polyurethane bushes and
the diff housing is mounted directly to the spring without the original
style sandwich rubbers. If you look at the top LH corner you can see the
sway bar mount which indicates lateral (sideways) diff housing movement if
compared to the edge it the video frame. The answer looks like you don't
need lateral location. However if you want to control rear roll center,
then either of these lateral location devices are well worth the trouble to

I wanted to prove if I needed to fit traction bar/tramp rods/reaction rods
(what ever) to my Falcon XY GTHO Group Nc racecar. The car has original 6
leaf GTHO type rear springs with one anti-tramp leaf on top of the main
leaf. I knew there would be a lot of diff housing windup on acceleration
(scary when you see it) but didn't think about braking!! You'll notice
just as much under deceleration. (also scary) I WILL be fitting reaction
rods in the near future!!!

Amazing 400+Bhp Twin Engine Alfasud Drag Race Car
We saw this at the Santa Pod Retro Show & we were so taken away with it we
nearly bought it - cheap at £2700, just think of the time & money spent to
build this thing, a truly original one off!
