Deze Chevrolet Camaro
uit de jaren 80 kwam bij ons met een "kleine" en niet goed lopende V6
De klant wilde wel iets meer vermogen hebben en hierbij natuurlijk een mooi
diep en donker geluid.
Voor beide wensen hebben we een oplossing bedacht!
Het hart van de auto is nu een V8 motor, een 350CID Fast Burn kratmotor
met een vermogen van 385 PK.
Deze motor hebben we voorzien van een aantal "snufjes" zoals het
luchtfilter met scoop op de motorkap.
Het uitlaatsysteem is een volledig open systeem geworden met keramisch
gecoate "shorty" headers en aan de achterkant een links-rechts systeem met
in totaal 4*130mm ronde eindsierstukken (ja het valt wel op).

montage en gasdichtheid.

1965 chevelle for sale
This is a 2009-10 restoration/transformation of a rust free california born
and raised 1965 malibu. It started life in san bruno CA and was bought new
at fairway chevrolet. I purchased the car in denver CO where it had been
for about 5 years. That being said the car and pictures I have prove that
it has survived well. The car was totally stripped of it's original
driveline in favor of a new gm crate 350-385 hp zz motor with the fast burn
head option. It was the turn key package and came complete from carb to pan
and with the belt drive on it. To tweak it further I have since put in a
stronger roller cam, lifters, rockers and beehive design springs. The car
runs like a top and sounds very very healthy. Power output is now more in
the 425 range. Transmission is a new 700r4 from bowtie overdrives in CA. It
operated through their own tv cable. I ffound a date/casting # correct 1965
chevell posi rear to convert over to a 3:73 ratio, new axles, c clip
eliminators bearings etc. driveline alone is over the $10,000 mark easy and
all new! Magnaflow Exhaust is being
fed through hooker darkside headers. Air induction is made possible through
special air ducts under the headlights mated to a scoop that attatches to
the hoses leading to the custom made air cleaner. Brakes are CPP 13"/11"
front rear. Slotted rotors and cpp's own master cylinder with adjustable
built in prop valve. Needless to say the car will stop extremely well. The
original suspension was scrapped in favor of a hotchkis TVS (total vehicle
system). As seen in the pictures it has all been upgraded. The car is very
impressive as far as it handling and the stock ride quality feel. Taking
people for rides is fum. I make them buckle up due to the capability of
this cars cornering. It sticks great and taking turns at 40 mph is a blast.
car has no body roll either. I was very impressed when the car was
finished. Rolling stock is custom order budnik wheels 18x8 front and 18x9
rear. They fit in the rear and do not rub. They tuck just right. Nitto invo
tires to the rest. Wheel and tire combo was near $3500. Aluminum 4 core and
custom made elec fan bracket keps this ride a cool 185 all the time. never
rises. Fans are thermostatically controlled. Optima battery is located in
the trunk very nicely via a mount from detroit speed. I also added a line
loc just for fun and its located on the shifter lever. Car was stripped
down to bare metal, dings and dents massaged and treated to over 200 hours
of bodywork alone to get it right. The car is STRAIGHT to say the least.
Not a ripple down the side. I spent alot of time on this car to make sure
of this. Car has original panels except one door skin. It was replaced
before I got car. Trunk was spatter painted and then cleared over. No spare
tire and jack. Car was painted in a variation of the newer gm color seen on
trucks and cars. (stealth gray I think they call it but it's really blue)
It really glistens/sparkles in the sun. Bumpers were done by keystone auto,
and have a lifetime show chrome guarantee. all new grille and trim was
replaced. Car has led taillights. Interior is new head to toe from CARS
inc. I kept the original color as black is so plain to me. New dash
cluster, tach but pad is still a mint original. All new paint in interior
duplicating factory finishes. I am picky about that. New carpet and billet
specialties pedals just add a subtle tough. This spring I fabbed up a
removable seat harness bar. Believe me it is needed when autocrossing. I
spent a good deal of time making sure it was sanitary looking. I used
simpson 5 point harnesses. That was pretty much the theme I was going for.
A not to overdone car that could always go back to stock if need be. Just
enough new parts to give it a killer pro-tour look. I have over 150
pictures of car in various stages of the build. From when I recieved it
with its dull old paint showing you what you see is what you get through
some of the build stage and to where you see it now. Since the pictures
were taken the car has a blacked out air gap intake that was added after
the new cam was installed. I was advised to do it by my engine builder
friend as he says every little bit helps! I have a quick video of it
running through a goodguys event autocross and a link for the pictures. Car
is on hotchkis' website as an example for the gm a body line and was
recently a feature in old cars weekly (link below). I don't wan't any
trades. So please serious inquiries only. I have all reciepts for
everything I've done except my labor of course. This was nearly a 600 hour
build and almost $40,000 in parts/materials and cost of the car. And we all

Recent installation of MSD ignition did elminate hard acceleration pinging.
Car Exhaust is Dynatec 2 1/2" SS with
3" collector headers. Car is also equipped with front disc brakes also 700
R4 OV trans. rounded out with 73 Nova posi rearend.

this is my 1971 chevrolet nova drag car that has a 496bbc. I just got the
new tranny and convertor in it and I was playing with the suspension. As
you can see it breaks loose at half track but I still had fun because I got
a little day light under the front tires..
