134296 / 1970 Cadillac DeVille
For more information on this vehicle visit http://tinyurl.com/qghjtdo Mixing one of the biggest and smoothest V8s GM ever produced with mirror-like paint and a spacious, comfortable interior, this classy DeVille puts a new twist on 'Standard of The World'. And if you've always dreamed of owning a big American cruiser that's high on style and loaded with comfort, it's just the opportunity you've been waiting for! Not completely devoid of character, like so many traditional, frame-off restorations, this road-ready drop-top is an exhilarating combination of factory-correct blitz and tasteful glam. Appearing both solemn and official, its Jet Black paint reflects an excellent shine that literally glows when crouching under the sun. And that modern two-stage covers what appears to be clean, mostly original sheetmetal which displays no sign of botched repairs or historic damage. Cadillac, once the world's leading proprietor of fine, 16-cylinder motor coaches, knows a thing or two about performance. For example, this convertible's correct, 472 cubic inch monster block, which is one of the largest V8s ever produced, turns stout 10 to 1 compression into a smooth 375 horsepower. And while GM Powertrain did provide engines that generated more power, this mill was designed to idle silently, create instantaneous thrust and emit merely a whisper from its tailpipe. Judging by the appearance of the car's satin black bay, it's been on a regular maintenance schedule, benefitting from periodic, full-scale detailing. Many of the motor's original ancillary items have been replaced by flashier hardware including: a chrome, single-snorkel air cleaner, chrome valve covers, a polished radiator overflow and an HEI distributor that's complete with 8mm Hi Temp wires. And thanks to two Optima gel cell batteries, the car fires so smoothly you may not even notice it's running. Behind that big engine, an original turbo-Hydramatic 400 3-speed spins a traditional GM 12-bolt that's complete with smooth 2.98 gears. Speaking of smooth, the car's long and low suspension, which is augmented with Air Ride Technologies air bags, glides over almost any imperfection with virtually no drama. And all that proven hardware rolls on slick Centerline Smoothies which spin 245/40R20 Firestone Firehawks around detailed Cadillac crests. If you're a fan of big time comfort, you'll be absolutely thrilled by this DeVille's custom black interior! The '63 Cadillac front and chopped rear seats are firm, supple and display virtually no signs of aging. In front of those half power, half manual seats, a modernist, crack-free dash hangs a contoured instrument panel between a billet mirror, a modern Pioneer CD player, controls for the car's Air Ride Technologies suspension and chrome-trimmed foot pedals. In front of the driver, a custom '59 Cadillac steering wheel spins a chrome horn ring around a tilting column and simple chrome gear selector. And behind the passengers, a Dynamat-lined trunk seals a giant subwoofer behind a Pioneer CD changer, two JL Audio amps, a small bass tube, a fifth Centerline/Firestone combo and a small, South County Customs jack. This DeVille is an extremely high-quality cruiser with no question marks attached. Don't miss your opportunity to own one of the coolest Caddys on the planet! 93 Cadillac Coupe De Ville Deville Last Year Coupé 4.9L V8 non Eldorado 2 DR Video Review
93 Cadillac Coupe De Ville Deville Last Year Model 4.9L V8 DTS STS Eldorado Test Drive Video Review http://www.1OwnerCarGuy.com Here is a nice 93 Cadillac Coupe De Ville that is the last year model. This car is a 2 Owner that only has 85K Original Miles on it. The 4.9L engine is one of my favorite motors because it has plenty of power and is very reliable. The car runs and drives great and just floats down the road. The exterior is nice but the paint on the top surfaces is fading. I repainted the bottom part of the car and I think it looks really good now. The half vogue eel skin roof is in very good condition and looks great. The body on this car is straight. The interior is leather and fully loaded just like any Cadillac. The front seats show a little wear and the back seats don't look like they wer ever sat in much. This is a nice affordable car that runs great and is a great car. The previously optional speed-sensitive suspension, "Computer Command Ride", introduced last year became standard equipment, and now included a new speed-sensitive steering system as well. Minor trim changes included black-out trim in the grille (as seen on the 1992 Touring Sedan). GM built 4,711 Coupe de Villes this year. The previously optional Cabriolet roof became standard equipment this year, and appeared on 3,606 cars. The Phaeton roof, which re-created the dashing look of a convertible top (now just a $170 option since the Cabriolet roof was standard equipment), was found on 1,105 cars. There were no painted-roof Coupe de Villes this year. Again, the most popular color for 1993 was Cotillion White, with 1,147 manufactured, while the least chosen color was Dark Plum, which found its way onto 24 cars this year. The four wheel choices this year included the standard-design cast aluminum wheel on 2,012 cars, optional $235 lace-design squeeze-case aluminum wheel on 1,766 cars, optional $235 locking wire wheel disc on 749 cars, and the $1,195 chromed squeeze-case aluminum wheel on 184 cars. Only 18 Coupe de Villes were ordered with the no-charge option of blackwall Michelin radial tires, the other 4,693 models wore the standard-equipment white-wall version. 3,036 had mono-tone paint, while the others held a lower body accent color, with the breakdown as follows: Silver, 1,130; Dark Red, 275; Gunmetal Gray, 177; and Beige, 93. In total, 4,168 had the standard Symphony Sound system, while 543 were ordered with the optional Bose stereo (310 with cassette, 233 with compact disc). Nearly all Coupe de Villes had leather upholstery (the most popular color was Neutral, with 1,236 made), as only 239 velour interior models were manufactured this year (the least chosen cloth color was Taupe, with only 24 manufactured).
