New vs . "Old" :2015 Mustang GT vs Classic Recreations "Villain" - /TUNED
Each week, we will bring you a segment from the past season of /DRIVE+. If
you want to see the content when it's fresh, and not 3 months after
everyone else, subscribe to /DRIVE+ and help keep content like this going.
The phrase, "Drives like a new car." gets thrown around the pro-touring
community a lot. Is it true? Matt Farah drives one of the best out there,
Classic Recreations' "Villain", and compares it to the new 2015 Ford Mustang GT.
1965 Ford Mustang Coupe 289 V8
This 1965 Ford Mustang has
been completely rebuilt from the ground up. The car is painted in a bright
gloss orange paint and looks as clean underneath as it does on top. Looking
inside of the car, you will see black vinyl and black carpet, both in great
shape! Under the hood is a rebuilt 289 V8, bored .030 over. The engine
offers stainless steel headers, Flowmaster Exhaust and an H-pipe. Behind the engine there
is a stout 3-spd manual transmission which lets the driver know they're in
charge. The Mustang also
offers welded sub-frame connectors, New 17" Torque Thrust II wheels, Power
Disc Front Brakes, Shelby Front Spoiler, Shelby Trunk Lid, 3" Cowl Hood,
New Radio, New Windshield, New Brake Lines, New Gas Lines, New Radiator,
New Starter/Voltage Regulator/Alternator, New Clutch, Pressure Plate and
Throw Out Bearing, New Shocks, and a New Edelbrock 4 BBL Carburetor. There
are many other new items such as fronts joints, stabilizer kits and on and
on. The build has just 2000 miles on it, plenty of time to work out the
bugs. Thanks for checking it out!

Instruments: Guitar, Bass, Kit, Organ, EP
With a jumping bass and off-beat syncopation, this is straight from
Memphis' Beale Street. The Hammond organ and electric guitar play together
as longtime friends, while the melody changes hands from guitar to organ to
electric piano. 011
