134420 / 1947 Cadillac Series 62
For more information on this vehicle visit http://tinyurl.com/l5erouf Combining the best aspects of classic motor city style with a skilled and thorough restoration, this substantial Cadillac is the perfect car for any enthusiast who wants to ooze old school swagger! An exceptionally solid survivor, this stunning convertible was completely disassembled, carefully modified and professionally restored by Malone Enterprises in Elkmont, Alabama. As you can tell from our documentation photos, the car was purchased in flat black and only required repairs to its hood and trunk to present a better-than-new appearance. Once those panels were patched, and sufficiently shaved, six coats of primer were alternated between six episodes of block-sanding, subjected to two installments of wet-sanding and covered in six layers of blue paint. When that paint dried, a thick clearcoat shell was sanded and buffed two more times to complete a three year, $181K restoration. And two years later, when the car's current owner came into the mix, he spent an additional $58K on slick black paint and a fresh leather interior. Restored by Mitchell's Racing Engines, and seated in a custom, body-matched bay, this Caddy's luxurious, 500 cubic inch V8 benefits from a full-scale detailing. At the top of its sinister black block, a silver-hued goddess rides a polished air cleaner that funnels wind into a coated Edelbrock 850 carburetor. That carburetor feeds a familiar Edelbrock Performer intake that's seated between big, "Cadillac" branded valve covers. At the front of those valve covers, a modern HEI distributor sequences fire through 8mm High Energy Wires. Those wires snake around ceramic coated, long-tube headers that dump charred gas into aluminized, true-dual pipes. In front of those headers, a custom fabricated Malone radiator sends coolant around a quick-spinning puller fan via bright, billet pulleys. Take a look under this super solid cruiser and you'll find a fully sorted chassis that, despite its road-ready mechanicals, is exceptionally clean and displays very few signs of wear. The front suspension was completely rebuilt using a '73 Firebird sub-frame and, like the modified Cadillac rear suspension, is currently fitted with adjustable air bags. Behind the big engine, a proven GM turbo-Hydramatic 400 3-speed makes good use of a sturdy, 10-bolt rear end. And at the corners of the car, traditional steel wheels spin 235/75R15 BF Goodrich whitewalls around dreamy Fleetwood hub caps. Clean, tailored and ready to roll, this Series 62's fresh leather interior features a perfect mix of outrageous style and traditional American luxury. The plush bucket seats are stuffed with firm padding and decked in striking, two-tone patterns. In front of those seats, a leather-trimmed dash hangs clean Classic Instruments gauges above billet components for Vintage Air climate control. Below that dash, a custom, full-length console centers buttons for the car's power top and air ride suspension under a modern Clarion sound system. In front of the driver, a polished Budnik steering wheel spins a color-keyed rim around a polished Ididit steering column. If you're looking for a spectacular custom that you can drive AND enjoy, don't miss the chance to park this classy Caddy in your garage. Call, click or visit http://RKMotorsCharlotte.com today!

1949 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible 331 V8
I thought you might like a look at this very slick 1949 Cadillac Convertible. This truly is a beautiful automobile and it has been correctly restored in every way. Under the hood, you'll still find the original, numbers matching, 331 V8 that is kicking out around 160 HP. The paint is slick, the chrome looks like new, and the interior is really well-maintained. This car is ready for some cruising. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for taking a look! 1951 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible Classic Muscle Car for Sale in MI Vanguard Motor Sales
http://www.ClassicCarBuyingSecrets.com Click now for an instant download on "How to Avoid the 7 Deadliest Mistakes of Buying a Classic Car Online"! 1951 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible History The Series 62 was a series of cars produced by Cadillac, designed to replace the Series 65 in 1940. It remained in production through 1964. The cars were lower and sleeker, with longer hoods, and one-piece windshields were fitted. Full-length chrome rocker panels set off the 1951 model. Early '50s Cadillacs were — and are — fast, rugged and surprisingly economical to operate. Restoration can be expensive, but numerous well-kept originals still exist. Only 6,117 of these vehicles were produced. VIN 516205656 The most recent owner of this Cadillac convertible has owned this car twice in his life. He originally purchased the car about 10-12 years ago, soon after the restoration/customization was completed. The build was completed about 14 years ago. He ended up selling it to a man in Florida. When it came back on the market 2 years ago, he bought it back. 134419 / 1949 Cadillac Series 62
For more information on this vehicle visit http://tinyurl.com/nl9w8sf Making a car look different is a pretty simple task. Making a car look more powerful, more elegant, and better proportioned than it did from the factory? That takes a talent, vision, funding, and friends in the right places -- especially when you're starting with something as graceful as a Cadillac. This '49 Series 62 was formerly an OEM restoration purchased in North Carolina after a life on the west coast. Nearly $285,000 later, the car is a one-of-a-kind custom that has already grabbed attention on a national level. This Cadillac has definitely mastered the art of subtlety. The biggest modification is the progressive chopped top which takes 1.5 inches out of the front and 4 inches out of the rear. The new sweeping roofline is a dramatic change but the amount of work involved in that one piece alone merited a 6-page spread in Street Rod Builder. Rod Crafters Inc. out of Welcome, NC did the metal work and, looking around the car today, their talents are certainly on display. Covered in a mile-deep coat of black paint, everything lines up perfectly and makes a long-lasting first impression. The original powerplant has been replaced by a fully rebuilt 425ci V8 that, according to the car's Street Rodder feature, turns out an impressive 405hp. The 1978-era block received some impressive new hardware that includes a set of Maximum Torque Specialties heads, an Edelbrock intake manifold, an Edelbrock 750-cfm carburetor, and a full MSD ignition system. Turn the key and the big V8 comes to life, producing an authoritative rumble through coated Sanderson headers which channel spent gases into a stainless dual Exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. Behind the 425, a TCI-built TH400 3-speed automatic handles shifting duties with authority while a Ford 9-inch rear with highway-friendly 3.08 gears puts Caddy power to the pavement. Around the drivetrain, the suspension benefits from the addition of a full Fatman sub-frame with tubular control arms and a Fatman 4-link rear suspension. The whole setup rides on an adjustable air-ride aided by power rack-and-pinion steering and Wilwood disc brakes. Stitched together by Chuck Hanna and company at Hot Rod Interiors out of Mooresville, NC this interior blends a modern look with the heavy dosage of luxury that Cadillacs are known for. Finished in leather with crocodile and blond wood accents, this is the definition of upscale. Amenities include power windows, air conditioning, and a touchscreen JVC head unit. Few American brands stand for luxury quite like Cadillac and this custom manages to elevate that trait further than the factory could have ever imagined. With its updated 452ci V8, extensively reworked body, and Chuck Hanna interior that could make a modern Mercedes feel ashamed of itself, this is a serious car a for someone who truly appreciates what went into its creation. If you're ready to put an amazing Cadillac in the garage and a big trophy in the case, call, click or visit http://rkmotorscharlotte.com for more information!

1957 CADILLAC ELDORADO BROUGHAM -- STAINLESS STEEL ROOF
Here is a rare and exquisite beauty, so unique in many ways. Only 400 of these were made in '57, -- 304 in '58, and then nevermore. These were hand built much like the 56 Marks by Continental. These Eldorado Boughams were for the super wealthy whose price tag of $13,074 didn't even make a dent in their wallets. This amount of 13 grand could buy you 3 Cadillac Series 62 hardtop coupes! A new but questionable air suspension system was standard on these Eldos, however they were deemed problematic and most of these would eventually have a conventional suspension system installed. While the regular Eldorados had a full restyling with sharply pointed fins, and Cadillac also produced the Biarritz convertibles, there was virtually no body parts shared with the Eldorado Brougham. They did share the engine blocks though, a V8, 365 cid / 300, but the Brougham had 325 horses. This Eldorado Brougham has so many features to take in, it's hard to know where to start. But let's just start at the front. There is unique sheet metal up front with a concave grille, dagmar bumper bullets, and a rear opening hood to start. Notice the dual vents mounted on the front fender tops. Then there is the suicide doors for easy entry and exit. A nice design touch is the chrome spear that covers the door exteriors and end with a faux vent "hash marks". The interior is laden with chrome, cloth and leather. The dash is well put together with guages clustered near the driver. The back seat has an arm rest that also serves as a storage bin. After you gape at the brushed stainless steel roof, cast your eyes down to the stainless steel trim at the lower quarter panel that ends at the squared off fins. The rear bumper also serves as the outlet for Exhaust ports, taillights, and the trunk lid tucks down slightly. The rear bumper also holds back-up lights. Just an amazing low mileage rare car, this Eldorado. Thanks for viewing this 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham, the car with the stainless steel roof.
