Ford Focus RS 2010 Review
The Focus RS is definitely a car that stands out, with its signature colour of 'Ultimate Green' this is a car that can't be ignored. Based on the ST the Focus RS has a 2.5L turbocharged engine, which does 0-60mph in an impressive 5.9 seconds. This sports hatch has a top speed of 164mph, accompanied by high performance breaking system it means the RS stops as well as it goes. The exterior design matches its sporty and aggressive engine, with sporty sideskirts reaching up to the flared wheel arches. Around the back to complete the sporty look is a twin blade black RS spoiler along with two chrome Exhausts that protrude from beneath the pronounced black bumper. To compliment the sleek exterior the interior hosts a carbon fibre look consol, a unique turbo dial on the dash and sports bucket seats. With all this power and style you would have thought that RS would fail on practicality, but it doesn't. The Focus RS has rain sensored wipers meaning you can concentrate on the road and leave the mundane tasks to the car. 2012 Ford Police Interceptor Concept Video
New 2012 Ford Police Interceptor Concept. Ford will release more info on the car by 2011 and it may replace the Crown Vic with this in 2012. Ford may add this to there lineup of police cars with the new Taurus. The car includes a powered clamshell "shaker" hood, which covers the engine. The fullsize sedan is based on a stretched version of the rear wheel drive Mustang's Ford D2C platform, featuring a solid rear axle. The body is proportioned with short front overhang and a long rear overhang, and features a low roof line and a high belt line, when compared to other Ford sedans like the Ford Taurus, with a wedged profile. The Interceptor incorporates a four-point "belt and suspenders" harness seat belt design in the front and rear seats, with inflatable safety belts for rear seat passengers. The four-point belt represents a possible next-generation safety belt system that is designed to be more comfortable and easier to use than traditional three-point belts. Named the Cayman R, it gets an additional 10-hp from the 3.4-liter flat-six engine for a total of 330-hp, while shedding a total of 121-lbs.
