Sebring, Fla. -- The Cadillac CTS-V Coupe race car hit the track for the first time on Jan. 17, driven by Johnny O'Connell and Andy Pilgrim, for tests at Sebring International Raceway in Sebring, Fla.
Cadillac is reentering the Sports Car Club of America World Challenge GT series this year, beginning with the season-opening race in St. Petersburg, Fla., on March 25-27. Cadillac competed in the World Challenge series in 2004-2007, earning the Speed GT Manufacturer's Championship in both 2005 and 2007 with CTS-V Sedan race cars.

Cadillac CTS-V is a luxury performance car that mainly competes with BMW M5, Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG and Audi RS6. The seconds generation Cafilac CTS-V has 6.2 liter S/C LSA V8 engine that develops 556 horsepower. It's based on LS9 from Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZR1. Cadillac CTS-V is available with 6-speed 6L90 automatic and 6-speed Tremec TR6060 manual gearboxes. Cadillac CTS-V does 0-60 mph in just 3.9 seconds. Cadillac CTS-V managed to do Nürburgring Nordschleife in just under 8 minutes.

CTS-V Exhaust Comparisons
Decided to do an Exhaust comparison since several V's showed up to the car show this morning and everybody had something a little different.
As it says in the video, all of the V's shown have several mods but only the mods that can change the Exhaust note are mentioned. Hopefully this will help some of you who have searched 1,000 videos on YouTube (like I did) looking for the right sounding Exhaust.
All owners report that there is ZERO drone with all of the systems shown here.
Cadillac CTS-V Exhaust Comparison: Magnaflow VS. Magnaflow and Kooks Headers
Before and After Video of Magnaflow Catback Exhaust with and without Kooks 1 3/4" headers and high flow cats on a CTS-V. Car is louder overall, as well as deeper and raspier with the headers on. V also has K&N CAI and various other mods not relevant to the Exhaust note.
NOTES: Car in backround is 2003 Terminator Cobra. Car is smoking at beginning of second video because the car was warmed up (it was cold out, and didn't want to rev the engine cold).
