1974 Pontiac Firebird
The Pontiac Firebird was built by the Pontiac division of General Motors
between 1967 and 2002. The Firebird was introduced the same year as the
automaker's platform-sharing model, the Chevrolet Camaro. This coincided with the
release of the 1967 Mercury Cougar, which shared its platform with another
pony car, the Ford Mustang.
The second generation debut for the 1970 model year was delayed until
February 26, 1970, because of tooling and engineering problems. Replacing
the "Coke bottle" styling was a more "swoopy" body style, with the top of
the rear window line going almost straight down to the lip of the trunk
lid. This look was to epitomize F-body styling for the longest period
during the Firebird's lifetime. The 1974 models featured a redesigned
"shovel-nose" front end and new wide "slotted" taillights.

Rustoleum Roller Paint Job Done On The Cheap $50 1985 Mustang Convertible 5.0
Here you'll learn how to paint a car for less than $50. Dubbed the
Rustoleum Roller Paint Job. Here's the supplies you'll need:
1-2 Quarts Rustoleum Gloss Paint (Your choice of color)
Gallon (or less) Mineral Spirits
A couple sponge foam paint brushes and / or bristle brushes
4 inch Foam Roller set.
Mix the Rustoleum and the mineral spirits at a 75% to 25% ratio. Or, 3
cups rustoleum, 1 cup mineral spirits. Mix together and roll on. If your
looking for a better finish, you'll spend more time putting on more coats.
If that's what your wanting, make the ratio approx 60 / 40.
This is what my Mustang
looked like before and after a single coat of 75 /25 mix. I'll need to
apply a second coat. Then it should be finished. Quick, cheap and easy.
Tomorrow I'm laying down new pinstriping and taping off the hood for a
stripe to go down the middle.
