Corvette's at Limerock ALMS 2011
Limerock ALMS 2001 Corvette C6R racing. No Corvette Restamped Stingrays just Neat Corvette Racing Scene's. Friday in practice, in the rain, only one P1 prototype had a faster lap that the C6R. About lap 10 or so into the actual race, both Corvette were involved in an incident & they went down too many laps to recover while in the pits getting repairs.

FG 1:5 RC large scale C6R Corvette with Sony A77 video test
testing my Sony A77 camera with the kit zoom len. Tried doing it with my cannon and its impossible to focus. This corvette is not a toy and cost thousands to build and its 34 inches long. Its a full carbon fiber car that is mixed with upper sportsline arms and the rest is basically an evo 08. This car is light and can handle like hell. It can power slide at will with full control. I will be doing my evo video soon and that car is absolutely amazing.
The corvette body is by Frank Killam Racing. Awesome stuff.
C6R Corvette ALMS Practice Limerock CT 2011
Limerock, CT ALMS practice laps on a dry track July 8-9, 2011. Watch the roll out to practice & traffic jam in the staging area. Then 12 clips of the #3 & #4 Corvettes practicing on a dry track. In the first clip of track practice, you can hear a squeal of the tires as someone brakes hard and then see the #4 Corvette slows quickly to avoid the Muscle Milk P1 car twice that is braking to avoid a Gold Porsche that has spun going up the hill. A cat in the straw hat momentarily blocks the view of the spinning Gold Porsche & then the second Corvette #3 comes by as that Porsche limps up the escape chute. He or she was over there twice: oversteer. :D
UPDATE: I saw that Gold Porsche spin again in Mosport.
This section of the track is notorious for spins. On this corner, on almost every lap first the right side wheels get airborne, follow by the left side as they diagonally whip over the concrete track corners. The turn is like a 90 degree turn into someone's driveway at 90 MPH, and they fly through here. Lots of scuff marks on the track and ruts in the grass when oversteering. :D
2011 Chevrolet wide bodied Corvette GT2 R at the 12 hours of Sebring ALMS
here's the new racing version of the C6 Corvette at the 12 Hours of Sebring. from what i an told this will be the last racing year for the C6. the C7 will be out late this year. they placed 3rd & 4th this time. hopefully the team will do better next race.
