1951 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible
History
The Series 62 was a series of cars produced by Cadillac, designed to replace the Series 65 in 1940. It remained in production through 1964. The cars were lower and sleeker, with longer hoods, and one-piece windshields were fitted. Full-length chrome rocker panels set off the 1951 model. Early '50s Cadillacs were — and are — fast, rugged and surprisingly economical to operate. Restoration can be expensive, but numerous well-kept originals still exist.
Only 6,117 of these vehicles were produced.

The most recent owner of this Cadillac convertible has owned this car twice in his life. He originally purchased the car about 10-12 years ago, soon after the restoration/customization was completed. The build was completed about 14 years ago. He ended up selling it to a man in Florida. When it came back on the market 2 years ago, he bought it back.

both these ares are very fine, i personally prefer the red one, but out of all the Cadillac's this has to be my most favorite year, many movies have had these car's in them, thus they have become cult status cars, movies like Ghostbuster's and others come to mind, but these car's are the very height of the 50's Fin craze, and this car was the most extreme of Harley Earl's fin idea he started back in 1948, but now there very collectible as they are cult cars, and often cult cars will go on forever being popular and expensive
