this is my Cadillac Deville 1984 6,2 diesel (Originaly 4,1) just put in sweet 6,2 GMC jimmy. I use the original tranny , I also had 1981 Cadillac Deville 5,7 diesel for scrap, needed the engine mounting and lots more stuff from that car . You can also see in the garage dodge van 350, Dodge dart 1974, cord 1936, Volvo 850 2,3 turbo and the orange engine 318 cc will be put in the dart
1991 Cadillac Brougham 5.7 L - Manhattan in the background
A quick look at my 1991 Cadillac Brougham on the bank of the East River in New York City with Manhattan in the background. The car has just over 50K miles on the odometer and is in excellent condition. Options include the 5.7 L engine, leather seating, wire spoke wheels and Option Package C (which included illuminated visor vanity mirrors, twilight sentinel, electric trunk pull down, theft deterrent system and remote fuel filler door lock. Sticker price was $33K in 1991 and included the Gas Guzzler tax, levied on the vehicle because it was rated at 15 city / 22 highway. I typically get 20mpg in mixed driving and have gotten as high as 24 mpg on highway trips.
The car is factory stock, with the exception of the floor mats (the previous owner threw them out when they got dirty!).

1996 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham in triple black
Here is my 1996 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham in triple black. I've had it for about 10 months and it has around 67,500 original miles. It's fully loaded with every option including moonroof and factory CD player (still not standard in 1996). It also has the gold emblem package. which really contrasts with the rest of the car. I got it from a dealership in the Chicago area after looking for this specific color combination and year for quite a while.
This car is undoubtedly the best I've ever owned. The Chevrolet-sourced LT1 requires so little effort to accelerate that the pedal feel seems at odds with the vague handling and cushy, soft ride. It absolutely floats over broken NYC streets and irons out almost every imperfection in the road. It comes off even better on the highway, where you absolutely cannot feel the road. The steering sort of firms up at higher speeds but it's still really, really light. The interior has enough room for six regular-sized Americans, something I enjoy even though I rarely have more than one person in the car at a time. I'm sure this would please Al Gore. Sometimes people find it amusing that I'm 24 and drive an "old man" car, until they ride in it. Then they usually fall asleep on the soft Brougham seats (which still smell new by the way).
It's a shame that GM doesn't build anything remotely close to this anymore and probably never will again. Someone needs to send them the memo that there is still a market for a full-size, rear-wheel drive domestic luxury car. I also own a 1996 Sedan Deville with 31K original miles, but it feels less substantial than the Brougham even though it has the Northstar and is fully optioned as well.
By the way, you really can get 23-26 MPG on the highway with the LT1 depending on how you accelerate and brake.

1956 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special
Video of my 1956 Cadillac Fleetwood. 1966 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham

It was recently resprayed in order to freshen it up and the original vinyl top was removed at that time. The car is in well-cared for condition and shows barely over 100K original miles. The interior is in beautiful condition and the leather is still soft and supple. The wood on the doors is in great shape but could use a little oiling. The body and floors are rock-solid. The car looks to have been stored properly. This is the perfect car for someone who appreciates original, low mileage vintage Cadillacs.
