Here is a video of the tour at the GM plant. It really is amazing to see it all being built. All the employees are very friendly, seem to love their job, and are very eager to show you their work. It was an awesome, and very interesting experience!

I was a tool & die troubleshooter at the GM metal stamping plant in West Mifflin, PA (near Pittsburgh) before it closed. This is a video of me getting back from lunch in Mid-November, 2008. I'm getting ready to go down to the plant floor to continue troubleshooting the FLEX HOOD Line. This was one of the last runs of the Flex Hood line before the plant closed.

This is a video I took of the last day at General Motors Lakewood August 1990. The last car we built was a Chevrolet Caprice and it was given away in a drawing, to be able to have a chance to win you had to have perfect attendance your name and social security number was on the card.your name was put in the turn basket. James R. Picklesymer won the car, He was from Elijay Georgia. I believe this is the only Plant that has ever given away the last Vehicle that it made. I sure do miss that Plant. I had 21 years in that Plant.
