UNLOAD Catches Fire At Summernats 26
It's been one of the most highly anticipated cars of 2012 featuring on several magazine covers, winning show awards and generally blowing minds. Steve Loader UNLOAD Commodore belongs to a new category of cars I like to call PRO BURNOUT - It's a burnout machine with a showcar finish.
But Steve being Steve, he couldn't keep it away from the burnout track. He put it on the pad both Friday and Sunday and did spectacular shows both days, but check out the fire after his Sunday skid. Luckily it didn't seem to damage the paint, but it looked pretty bad at the time. Hopefully we'll get to see more of this car on the pad soon.

Coolant and tranny fluid can be seen on the ground around it, the diff carrier is on the ground near it.
The clutch discs can be seen going through the air, and shrapnel hitting the scaffold seating. The marks on Craig are from a clutch disc.

2000hp Torana Wins Horsepower Heroes
Jake Edwards goes back to back at Summernats 26 with another win in horsepower Heroes with 1666rwhp (and equates to over 2000hp at the flywheel). The car runs a 496ci big block with a massive 106mm Garrett turbo with EFI and methanol. It has run 7.88 at 179mph on the quarter, so it's not just a Dyno queen.
