comp vid of rebuild of the entire valve train on a 07 imp SS. valve train parts are Thunder Racing 224/224 112LSA cam Comp Cams hydraulic roller lifters, chromemoly 7.400" puchrods, 918 springs, titanium retainers Harland sharp 1.7 rockers Dyno after 6 pulls got to 278 HP 263 TQ, motor was considered heat soaked at this point IAT's were at 170+, projected HP is 288-293whp.

My Dad and I built this car and have had it since it was brand new in '84. Learned how to drive in this car! 1984 Monte Carlo SS. 350 HO GM Performance crate engine, comp cam, Edlelbrock RPM intake manifold, 2.5" Exhaust, headers, B&M torque converter, lowered, 17x8 torque thrust wheels, Baer brake track kit, Yukon 3.73 gears and chromoly axle shafts, LSD diff, HD cross member and cut outs for true dual Exhaust, too much to list. 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS All Street Project Car
This is my 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS. I have owned this car for 13 years and it has been in the family for over 26 years. The car has just under 29,000 original miles. The engine and drivetrain is all original as well as the paint and interior. I didn't drive the car much, so I decided to make a few subtle changes, mostly in the stance, so I would drive it more. Just don't care for the stock stance on these cars. For the front I used 2" drop Belltech spindles and 1" drop Belltech springs. For the rear I used OPG 3" drop rear springs. 3" total drop front and rear. I used Belltech Street Performance shocks on all four corners. The wheels are Center Line Retros 18 x7 front, 18 x 8 rear. Nitto NT555 tires 225/45 in the front, 255/45 in the rear. Also for a little more sound, I went with Flowmaster Super 40 mufflers and custom tailpipes. I drive the car a lot now just cause I enjoy it so much more. I didn't cut anything and I have everything to put the car back original if I ever decide to in the future. Thanks for looking!
