RC ADVENTURES - BOOM! HPI SAVAGE FLUX HP 4WD MT - 6S LiPO - SHREDDiNG PURE POWER
Click Here To Subscribe! ► http://bit.ly/JOovvU - AWESOME! The Electric Savage Flux HP from HPI Racing is a 1/8 Scale "Bashing/Racing" MONSTER Truck. Its tough design and rugged frame have been impressing me ever since I have seen them cruising the bashing fields in 2011. I must wait NO LONGER.. and I have unleashed the POWER! In this film, I test out the 6S Lipo Battery capability and run 24 VOLTS to the HPI / Castle "BLUR" ESC and "TORK" 2200kV Brushless motor. I try this both ON and OFF ROAD to put the Hype to the test.. IT DOES NOT DISAPPOINT! Everything from INSANE Speed.. Standing Backflips, KILLER SUSPENSION and MONSTER POWER .. what more could I ask for! I was running a 5450mah Lipo set, and the run time was approximately 45 Minutes before I blew the tire off of the thing! LOL! AWESOME :~) Totally my fault, and irresponsible RC'ing.. but DANG it made GOOD FILM!! Trusting the All Metal Geared Transmission, I was not afraid to go full throttle on the straight away.. but I could only get to 1/2 Trigger! IT WAS SOOO FAST! It also has a Reverse Gear.. for when you get into a bad situation. I like the FWD and RWD combined to give the rig a BEAST QUALITY. My friends.. I encourage you to check out the HPI RACING Product page for SPECIFIC INFO and Specs about the Rig you see in this video. It was ALL STOCK! Link BELOW Savage Flux HP - PRODUCT SPECS & INFO - http://www.hpiracing.com/kitinfo/104240/ For Other Kits, Products and Accessories.. check out he HPI Website for more detail on how you can discover RC fun for yourself! http://www.hpiracing.com/ - Radio Control Products & Accessories I used a Variety of cameras for this video including Dual Pro Sony 1080p HD Cams In this film I do my best to encompass my viewers recommendations over 4 years. A special thank you to Kevin Macleod for amazing samples of music allowing me to Mix in and add in sounds of suspense and excitement. A: Check by visiting my main channel page; hit the channel-specific search box and enter a relevant keyword (fewer the better) Q: Why haven't you made new videos in a long time? A: My local RC track facility was forced to move a long ways away. Meanwhile, nearly every open space in my heavily populated area (San Francisco, California region) is *explicitly* off-limits to RCs and regularly patrolled by rangers and/or police and I've been booted once too many times. I've got no good place to legally drive & film within a reasonable distance :( Q: Will you ever return to the RC hobby? A: I sure hope so! Plan is to try to buy a house with enough land to build my own little private track / testing facility, if the real estate market allows. Q: Why did you disable comments on your existing videos on this channel? A: You know, *most* RC hobbyists are cool folks. YouTube though, harbors an extraordinarily large population of the most vitriolic, extremist, hyper-fanboys who make it their life's purpose for weeks at a time to develop and then spread the most ridiculous fabricated stories to try to tear down a guy who happened upon a little success & popularity as a result of working hard & sharing something he loves to do. I'm not into that. Normal human beings who want to chat up a storm about RCs can do so on the forums where there's a sense of community as well as accountability. Q: Is URC (which stands for UltimateRC.com) dead? A: Silliest question of all time, hands down. Visit http://UltimateRC.com/forums & hit "View New Posts" for your answer! Q: With RC testing on the backburner, are you doing anything instead? A: I've merely shifted from one type of toy to another! Check out http://www.JANGBRiCKS.com . With the same level of dedication I previously applied to RC, I've built YouTube's most-viewed narrative review channel for LEGO & other brick-based building systems. LEGO is the world's single most popular toy for ages 2 to 100 and has a remarkably positive & supportive global fanbase. Like with RC, what outsiders think of as "just kids toys" is actually a vast & diverse world of often very complex builds & challenges. Unlike with RC, though, all of the parts are compatible, pieces from the 1970s are still fully usable today, and there are no rain cancellations or surprise track closures or park rangers to contend with :D

Time Lapse of Hand Lettering Pinstriping Gold Leaf Airbrush Vega Funny Car Nostalgia Drag Racing
Buy Drag Strip Riot Posters! http://www.maziracing.com/2004poster/index.htm Documentary Short Subject: Support Your Local Sign Painter Interview and time lapse of Dan DeLaney, aka Dan the Sign Man, hand lettering and performing airbrush detailed layout on the Feelin' Groovy 1972 Chevrolet Vega funny car owned by AA/GS racer Steve Crook of Blew By You fame. Includes variegated gold leaf application and pinstripe finish. Project time lapse shot over the course of seven days from start to finish. Old School, Steve Kafka Kwill Time lapse recorded with Drift HD POV camera at an interval of 5 seconds per shot. 2014 SNN #1 Support Your Local Sign Painter Words, Photos, and Video by Dawn Mazi-Hovsepian A little over a month ago, I received a text message stating that several mutual friends were going to collaborate on a paint scheme for a 1972 Vega nostalgia funny car. Steve Crook and Mark Stipich, co-owners of S & M Auto Body (http://www.sandmautobody.us) in Eastlake, Ohio, were going to apply the paint, and longtime family friend Dan DeLaney, aka Dan the Sign Man (http://www.dansignman.com) of Tonawanda, New York, was going to handle the layout and hand lettering for the team. Crook, Stipich and Brian Korelec presented Dan with a concept of what they wanted done, as well as their color choice for the car. DeLaney roughed out a 'napkin sketch' of his interpretation and received instant approval to roll with it. I was so thoroughly impressed with Dan's sketch and respect for the car's era, that I sent a text message back to him saying, "Having a crazy idea of doing a time lapse video of you doing your thing. Other than wraps on stock cars and the like, no one has done this before." Within minutes of that initial message, I had pitched the idea to Lohnes and began making plans with Dan to spend a week at his shop. My only request for Dan was to not tell anyone on the team that I was going to be there to record the entire process, and that no photo progress updates were to be shared with them until the guys picked up the body. I planned on having cameras set up in the shop to capture their initial reactions to the finished piece. This was going to be uber-fun. DeLaney went the extra mile and made a day trip to Eastlake in mid-April to help layout the design on the body. Crook and Stipich took it from there and had the body painted and delivered to Dan's shop by May 2nd. From then on, Dan graciously allowed me to shadow him with video cameras rolling for eight days, following every methodical and detailed brush stroke from start to finish. While DeLaney worked his magic, we reminisced over the days when we looked forward to getting magazines that featured the newest rolling works of art by the hands of rock star sign painters like Tom Stratton, Kenny Youngblood, Glen Weisgerber, and Nat Quick to name a few. Each individual's unique style fueled DeLaney's passion and appreciation for the industry that he's been able to make a living at for nearly 40 years. Believe it or not, for all the cars that DeLaney has lettered in that time, this was his first Vega funny car body to hand letter and it was deeply personal to him to get it right. It was a throwback to his teen years when he dreamed of owning a paint shop like Don Kirby's in Bellflower, CA, a time when funny car bodies would be lined up on 55 gallon drums outside awaiting their own pair of magic hands. With the exception of pinstripe details, which were expertly handled by Terry Buczak, DeLaney knocked out a stunning hand lettered tribute to an era of drag racing that is burned into the memory banks of purists far and wide. It's more than right, Dan. It's hitting on all eight.

1 Traxxas Funny Car / Dragster / Sand Drag / Flysky FS-iT4
I recently purchased a flysky fs-it4 and decided I would need a car to test its functions with. This is where the Traxxas Funny Car comes in, with its high speeds and huge power consumption I could test all the telemetry functions of my transmitter. I will be using voltage, speed, and heat sensors on this car. I will also do a few changes to it to make it more "FUN". I will be using it for sand dragster function as well and the funny car body goes out the waste side for the naked look of a dragster, sorry for the short length guys but I decided to keep stock wheelbase for ease of build and super long as real dragsters would be a problem for sand rail duty. Using metal gears all over, metal gear servo as well. E-Revo 17mm hex adapters used to adapt to sand tires. Now for those that might be wondering, the Traxxas Funny car does bring these telemetry functions and then some, but because everyone already knows how that works I decided it would be a good idea how this transmitter compared as an option for those that might just get a roller chassis of the vehicle to do their own modds.
