The Winch runs on a single 2S Lipo 200mah. Integy Big Bore Shocks, & an 3 Inch total Frame Extension.

Traxxas NHRA Funny Car... So Easy a 5 Year Old Can Run It!
My 5 year old son learning to run the Traxxas 1/8 Dragster. He's got the controls and driving modes mastered, but tends to oversteer a lot because he is used to his daily driver which is an emaxx on 4s. Steering on the emaxx is optional since it pretty much runs over or through anything in its way.
He has taken a liking to this new Funny car in a big way, so we will keep honing his skills. He's a very quick learner, so i'm sure he'll be putting down some respectable speeds in no time.

When I did the math it looked like the XO-1 could do the quarter mile (433m) in 12 seconds and the ute does it in 11.5seconds so it looked on paper at least like a reasonable race.
However on the day the track compound was a week old and was shiny and slippery at the start line. It was due to be resurfaced hours from when we made our video. What do they say about best laid plans?
We would have even settled for a result over a half the track! So anyway this is all we got. Despite all that for a split second it looked as if the Traxxas was capable of taking the lead in the first 100 meters.
We haven't ruled out doing this again, maybe Traxass could post us some different tires! :)

The Electric Savage Flux HP from HPI Racing is a 1/8 Scale "Bashing/Racing" MONSTER Truck. Its tough design and rugged frame have been impressing me ever since I have seen them cruising the bashing fields in 2011. I must wait NO LONGER.. and I have unleashed the POWER!
In this film, I test out the 6S Lipo Battery capability and run 24 VOLTS to the HPI / Castle "BLUR" ESC and "TORK" 2200kV Brushless motor. I try this both ON and OFF ROAD to put the Hype to the test.. IT DOES NOT DISAPPOINT! Everything from INSANE Speed.. Standing Backflips, KILLER SUSPENSION and MONSTER POWER .. what more could I ask for!
I was running a 5450mah Lipo set, and the run time was approximately 45 Minutes before I blew the tire off of the thing! LOL! AWESOME :~) Totally my fault, and irresponsible RC'ing.. but DANG it made GOOD FILM!! Trusting the All Metal Geared Transmission, I was not afraid to go full throttle on the straight away.. but I could only get to 1/2 Trigger! IT WAS SOOO FAST! It also has a Reverse Gear.. for when you get into a bad situation. I like the FWD and RWD combined to give the rig a BEAST QUALITY.

Lol.. hence the car hitting the camera at certain spots of the film! I figured why not Jump it, Track it, and put it through a little abuse. The Short course truck is definitely a tough rig.. and I ran a 3S Lipo (electric truck) through the Velineon ESC & Waterproof Motor Combo.

A: Hit up Google.com -- search for the product by name, then click the Shopping results link to quickly & easily see the current price range. RC items can be purchased from RC hobby shops, online RC shops like Tower Hobbies, A-Main Hobbies, etc., or from eBay sellers.
Q: Why did you buy a brushed version of an RC to review, when there's a brushless version available?
A: Many more people can afford to buy the brushed version -- not every buyer has an unlimited budget. Also, brushed RCs can be VERY enjoyable to own & run, even though they don't go 300mph.
Q: Why don't you review more nitro vehicles?
A: I don't like them much (I have owned/run a number of them), plus there are few places in my highly-populated region where I can even legally/ethically run a nitro RC.
Q: Why don't you put a momba monstarr omg brushlas combo in that RC?
A: I like to drive my RCs, including turning, not just going straight on a big parking lot, and I don't like destroying them.
Q: Why don't you test more high-end maximum-expense race vehicles?
A: I'm no longer a racer, and most viewers are not racers. I really enjoy multi-purpose vehicles that can be driven places other than a track. Plus, *proper* testing of a race vehicle *requires* a long, arduous, expensive process involving extensive tuning and direct apples-to-apples driving comparison against the leading competitor or two under identical conditions.
Q: How do you get your money to buy RC stuff?
A: By working. Hard. Really hard.

A: Wait, why did you watch the video, when the title clearly says what it's about?
Q: What cameras do you use?
A: I don't want viewers to think they must get the exact models I use in order to get good footage. Check some of the video & camera review sites out there as well as sample videos on YouTube to help you pick a good camcorder within a reasonable budget.

A: Just stuff that truly shouldn't exist in the first place, like spam, personal attacks, racism, drug references, excessive ugly language (kids watch these videos), extraordinary annoyance (e.g., a letter repeated 500 times).

John Force a Cheater? (You Decide) U.S. Nationals 2009
A verbal exchange with Tony Pedregon in which Force had to be restrained overshadowed his daughter beating Hight in the final to become the first woman to win a U.S. Nationals title in Funny Car.
In the semifinals, with Hight needing to beat Force to knock Cruz Pedregon out of the 10th spot in the Countdown, Force smoked his tires midway through the run as Hight pulled away. After Tony Pedregon lost to Force Hood in the second semifinal, he walked past Force and accused him of losing on purpose.
"I saw the ladder. I knew if Force raced Robert what would happen," Tony Pedregon said. "I raced with John for eight years. I know what they do. I made some comments and it got a little exciting there. But I didn't say anything that wasn't true.
"It's not just because it was Cruz. I would say the same thing if it was anybody and John set up his car to lose. I understand the business. It's a tough position John was in. But it's dirty in horse racing. It's dirty in boxing. I'm not going to sit here and watch it and not say anything."
