2012 Cadillac CTS V - Sedan | New Car Review | AutoTrader.com
TopSpeed test drive: Cadillac CTS-V
The only problem I had with the engine was in the gear change. The car
revved so quickly I hit that occasionally ran the relined (6,200 RPM)
during the switch and had to wait to get back into the power...

2014 Cadillac CTS 2.0L Turbo Test Drive Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/cadillac/cts/2014/?id=32972 In the past the CTS
had to serve 2 roles for Cadillac: it was first the entry level car and
second was the BMW 5-Series competitor. But now with the ATS; the 2014
Cadillac CTS has grown a couple of inches and can finally just be a
mid-sized luxury car. The new redesigned CTS looks a lot like the ATS
though and that is either a good thing or bad thing depending on what you
think of Cadillac's new design direction. The CTS has a base price of
$39,495 with the top-of-the-line model going for $69,070.
Under the hood is a turbocharged 2.0
liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 272 horsepower and 295 lb-ft. of
torque. The transmission is a 6-speed automatic and fuel economy figures
are 19 MPG in the city and 29 MPG on the highway.
The most important part of a luxury car is the interior. The interior of
the 2014 Cadillac CTS says "you have arrived." There are nice soft-touch
leather materials along with natural wood trim that gives this car a
"German feel." The suspension has the GM Magnetic Ride Controlled Shocks
that really give the CTS a nice luxurious ride quality.
This Cadillac CTS tested here is the Premium model which is loaded with all
the gadgets and technology you would expect out of a high-end German luxury
car. Some of the systems include: Adaptive Cruise Control, a Self-Parking
System, and a digital gauge cluster just to name a few.

2009 Cadillac CTS-V Review - Kelley Blue Book
FOR PRICING & SPECS ON THIS CAR VISIT:
Cadillac CTS-V. Kelley Blue Book recently had a chance to drive the new
Cadillac CTS-V. In most respects its exactly the same as the regular CTS
luxury sedan. It still has a roomy, comfortable interior, plenty of soft
touch materials, cool ambient lighting and a navigation system that audibly
warns you of dangers ahead. In fact, besides a slightly firmer ride this
could be the regular CTS. At least until you turn, accelerate or brake.
Cadillac describes it as the fastest V8 production sedan in the world.
Review: 2012 Cadillac CTS-V w/ 595 HP
I review this lightly modified Cadillac CTS-V with 595 horsepower! This car has a
Corsa Exhaust and an Airaid intake.
Which would you rather have, this or the BMW M3? Many thanks to Harrison
Auto Sales. This car has already been sold, but you can view their entire

2011 Cadillac CTS-V Wagon Test Drive & Car Review
Cadillac's CTS-V is a musclebound powerhouse of a car, offered in coupe,
sedan, and--in our case--wagon form. This is one of those 'Holy Grail'
cars for enthusiasts, a car that looks great, sounds like the end of the
world, and offers nuclear-level performance while carting its occupants
around in a roomy, well-appointed cabin.
In short, on paper it looks perfect, especially for a wagon enthusiast like
myself. And it looks great in person, too. Our test car's silver coat was
offset beautifully by the optional wheels in glossy black, and brake
calipers in a shade of yellow that looks like it came off a Lamborghini.
The near-exotic feel was capped by the optional suede on the steering wheel
and the shift lever.
On the road, the CTS-V didn't quite feel the way I was hoping it would.
I'd hoped, despite the insanity of the supercharged LS3 (556 hp, 551 lb-ft
of torque) that propels the wagon from 0-60 in around 4 seconds flat, that
the car would dance a little bit. It doesn't, really...it simply looks for
the next available stretch of highway on which it can further stupefy its
driver with its ability to melt great distances down to nothing.
And that really isn't the car's fault. At Despite its great lap times and
well-sorted development, there is simply a limit to what a car of this
size, weight (over 4300lb), and power level can do for this amount of
money. Starting at around $63,400, the CTS-V wagon offers the performance
(and size, and imposing presence) of a $90,000 M5 for the price of an M3.
That in itself is an accomplishment that Cadillac can be unabashedly proud
The fact is that this car is even more unique than the coupe and sedan
versions of the CTS-V. It performs nearly as well, just a few ticks behind
the lighter bodystyles in both 0-60 and 1/4-mile sprints. But it's a
freaking wagon! With 25 cubic feet of cargo room with the seats up, and 68
cubes with the seats folded, it beats out many SUVs, including the BMW X5,
the M version of which will just not keep up with this Caddy CTS despite
costing a cool $40-50k more. You pay for it at the pump, of course, with
mileage in the estimated range of 14 mpg city and 19 mpg highway. But the
low entry price relative to anything that comes close performance-wise is
well worth it.
