Saab 2-stroke barn find
This car had been stored in a barn for nearly 30 years when I found it, and
with good help from my son and a friend organized a rescue operation in the
August 2012. Here is what happened that sunny day south-east in Norway.
Rally Finnskog 2013. SS1 Saab 900 turbo
Second race in the Norwgian Rally Championship, Rally Finnskog. Stage 1,
and my very first stage with the old Saab 900 turbo.
The car is way too heavy to be competitive, but still great fun to drive!

On the car's specs Bruce adds: "It now has a 850cc three cylinder two
stroke motor that started life as a 750cc but the block was bored out to
850cc. It has Monte Carlo 850 pistons, a GT 750 crank shaft, a dual Solex
"Super kit Carb, lightened flywheel, heavy duty clutch (extra springs
added) fully ported intake and Exhaust
ports to rally spec II specifications and a Spec II rally 4 speed Saab gear
box which is very rare I might add... Oh, estimated HP is 60 BHP"

I find there is a lot of noise (like static interference on it)... I just
updated the camera to 3.02 firmware.
