This was my first car rebuild, working on it every spare moment we managed
to complete the project in 13 Weeks.every panel has been replaced except
,both drivers and passengers floors required cutting out and replacing as
well as extensive sil and other body work before putting the panel's on
.The car is painted Mazda 3 green and is running sss pulsar brakes all
round apart from this it is almost completely stock.
Revving my Datsun once warmed up. Notice some standoff from the nearest
barrel, also pops a bit at idle from that one.

Another startup video of my custom EFI Setup in my Datsun 1200 Coupe.
Getting a bit closer now, have coolant sensor all sorted, O2 feedback
and got it idling (all be it a bit high @ 1500 rpm) still running super
rich, and so its
pretty smokey and back fires at higher revs. also very difficult to get it
its cranking....... Megasquirt is hard work, but its DIY so be happy when I
get there in the end :)

ute has a 5.7-litre Gen-III engine shoehorned up front and it's a whole lot
of fun on and off the track.
Datsun Fairlady Roadster R16 Engine with Twin Mikuni Carburetors
Engine start and a few revs of the Datsun R16 engine with twin 40mm Mikuni
Type T carburetors on a custom made stainless steel intake manifold and
stainless steel 4-1 headers by TitanWorks - mendrel bent and TIG welded.
Very clean fabrication.
Twinside Mikuni carburetors tuned and jetted by race guru Fil Gulfin. Lots
of power from 3000-6000+ rpm. Sounds great too!
Stainless steel 2" Exhaust with a
stainless steel flex pipe and a custom stainless steel 20" free flow
resonator. A custom made megaphone stainless steel Exhaust tip finishes the Exhaust system.
