Worlds Fastest Postman Pat Van NSRA Hot Rod Drags 2012
Please Like Us On Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/postmanpatvan Please subscribe, thumbs up, leave a comment and share this video. A few runs from Shakespeare County Raceway. PAT 1 ran a very impressive 14.5 sec 1/4 at 96.51 MPH with a very steady launch, Also managed 95.71 MPH, 93.98 MPH and 93.07 MPH Runs, Really close to our 100MPH target, A nice hard launch should do it for us. The new addition of an air shifter seemed to be far better than the previous paddle shift set up and the addition of wheelie bars proved to work in our favour, Its not as spectacular for the audience but we need them to try break 100 MPH. Got to say a massive thank you to everyone that was at the NSRA Hot Rod Drags, the attention and the reaction the van got was amazing, When we started to build it I never thought in a million years it would get this sort of reaction, and then the NSRA Hot Rod Drags Dirty Dozen trophy just topped the whole weekend off. HOT ROD Drag Week: The British Invasion! - HOT ROD Unlimited Episode 20
HOT ROD Drag Week is the event where racers compete and five drag races at four different drag strips in five days, driving their competition cars on the street from track to track. At the 2012 event, presented by Gear Vendors, 180-plus cars drove 1,400 miles, starting and ending in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This is the ultimate test of the quickest real street cars, and racers battle mechanical problems and sleepless nights just to finish. Now imagine how difficult that would be if you had never been to the US, you shipped your car from another continent, drove it 600 miles to the start of Drag Week, and raced the whole five days. And your car is a Bedford van that you handbuilt with a turbo four-cylinder that runs 11.50s at 120 mph in the quarter, and there's a not a single part for it that you can buy in America. Now imagine doing all that while helping other racers at every step along the way, with a smile on your face the whole time. That was Mick "Wacky" Wilkes from England, who was the 2012 winner of HOT ROD Spirit of Drag Week award, an honor that the magazine and the racers take very seriously. When Drag Week was done, Mick and his girlfriend Deb hit the road again, traveling all of Route 66 until they wound up at the HOT ROD magazine office in Southern California. Rat Rod Custom 1950 Mercury Rescue! - Roadkill Episode 21
It's always a good idea to buy a car off the Internet sight-unseen, right? That's what a friend-of-a-friend of Roadkill did with the kustom Merc—and maybe he made an even worse decision when he allowed Freiburger and Finnegan to wrench on the thing and deliver it to him. This deal was set up by a Roadkill fan, Jim Norman of Norman Vinyards in Paso Robles, California. The road trip involves the '69 El Camino from Episode 4, The Dog from Episodes 4 and 17, lots of burnouts with the guys from Hot Rod Ranch - http://www.hotrodranchcustoms.com - and plenty of fun with Alex Gambino of Gambino Kustoms - http://www.facebook.com/gambino.kustoms Roadkill appears every fourth Friday on the Motor Trend channel. http://www.youtube.com/motortrend Subscribe now to make sure you're in on all the action! http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=motortrend Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/RoadkillShow, http://facebook.com/motortrendmag & http://facebook.com/hotrodmag Twitter - http://twitter.com/motortrend & https://twitter.com/hotrodmagazine Google+ - https://plus.google.com/1018679678590... Mitch Allread: Don't Call it a Rat Rod... - /BIG MUSCLE
It packs a 400 hp diesel out of a Ford F-350, a Dana 80 rear-end, and a look and feel that would make Max Rockatansky feel right at home. This is Mitch Allread's custom fabricated creation and it is, without a doubt, one of the coolest things on the road today. This is a machine that transcends the traditional hot rod formula by breaking down borders and setting its own stage. Whereas most hot-rods are built by custom shops utilizing parts from mail order catalogs, Mitch took a different approach and fabricated just about everything on his ride by hand. Calling this a rat-rod would be an insult - a work of art however... that'd be just fine.

Episode 1 and 2 preview.

Triple Black Attack: 1970 440 6-Pack 'Cuda - /BIG MUSCLE
Each and every muscle car enthusiast has that one experience that has helped define the way in which they view the automobile. For Northern California's John Cross that experience came by way of riding in the back of his cousins 1970 440 6-Pack Plymouth 'Cuda when he was a kid. It was a car that provided him with memories, stories and of course, a goal - that being, to one day own the very car which got his engine running all those years ago. It's now 2012, 42 years after that first faithful ride in the very 'Cuda you're about to see. This time however it resides in John's garage, not his cousins, which can mean only one thing... Sometimes dreams do come true.

Donuts in a 1966 Cobra - /BIG MUSCLE
It's a 1966 Shelby Cobra replica that was built by a Father and his two sons more than 10 years ago. It's faded fiberglass shell is chipped and spider-webbed. The stainless trim is pitted and tarnished and the wheels are coated in a thick layer of brake dust. The carpet is also coming up and every now and then it blows flames from its side-pipes due to it running a little rich. Some may think these are problems. Me personally - I think it's one of the coolest cars I've ever driven. This episode of "Big Muscle" is about the drive, those project cars that we work on, and the exhilaration we get when we wring them out for the first time on the open road.
