Tuning 102 - Idle Tuning
Setting base timing, fuel pressure and ISC motor using DSMlink v2. Getting the idle speed and baseline settings correct is crucial to achieving a good tune once fuel and timing adjustments begin. If these values aren't satisfied or have failed in operation at idle, there is little chance of achieving a consistent tune once the throttle comes into play. Like in Tuning 101, none of this is relevant unless you've fixed ALL of your Boost leaks.

On the way back from a race. Driving the car on hoosier tires, kinda wobly. Turned the Boost down to 26psi from 32psi I've got an AEM EMS in this car. That day it went 10.6@130mph on pump gas. Few weeks later it went 9.6@148mph on "race gas"

Mitsubishi Eclipse 1G: własnoręcznie zmodyfikowana centralka alarmu Stag 45 +, dodatkowa "centralka" sterująca obwodami zapłonu, wszystko zaprojektowane i wykonane przeze mnie. Koszt około 25zł. Funkcje V2 (prawdopodobnie ostatecznej) 1. Rozrusznik odłączany w czasie 0.1s. od zaskoczenia silnika. 2. Zabezpieczenie przed ponownym uruchomieniem rozrusznika. 3. Zabezpieczenie niepozwalające na start na biegu (czujnik skrzyni) 4. Brak możliwości jazdy bez kluczyka (czujnik sprzęgła, gazu, stopu, skrzyni, immobilizer) 5. Możliwość wyjścia z auta z kluczykiem bez gaszenia pojazdu (patrz punkt 4) 6. Zabezpieczenie przed przypadkowym uruchomieniem (czasowa sekwencja przycisków) 7. Układ nie pobiera prądu ani nie wpływa na pracę żadnych funkcji pojazdu w stanie spoczynku, automatycznie wyłącza się po włożeniu kluczyka. Podczas pracy układ pobiera około 400mA. Układ pełni również funkcję antykradzieżową, brak możliwości odpalenia na krótko/ kluczykiem jeżeli alarm nie zostanie rozbrojony pilotem + immobilizer (pastylka). Sterowanie centralką zdalnego rozruchu za pomocą impulsu generowanego przez alarm (2gi kanał alarmu).
