Harley Nightster: RSD 2011 Product Video P.2, Café Sportster
Introducing the new RSD Cafe Sportster representing our 2011 Cafe Product
line. The Café Gauge & Headlight Re-Locator moves your stock speedometer
from the top handlebar clamp to the front of the top triple clamp and
lowers the stock headlight 2 inches. It allows for use of any aftermarket
risers or completely eliminates the risers for use of the RSD Café 39mm
Clip-Ons. The Clip-Ons mount to the front forks, below the top triple
clamp for a low handlebar position. Our Coil Ignition Re-locator moves the
location of coil and ignition switch from under the neck of the bike to
between the V of your motor and removes the plastic wire caddy to expose
the frame of your bike above the front cylinder. Transform your XL
Sportster into a Café Racer.
2008 Harley-Davidson Nightster XL1200N
This is a short clip of me on my Harley-Davidson Nightster 1200. I bought
it brand new in May 2008. I got it customized with Screamin' Eagle Super
Tuner, Screamin' Eagle Intake, and Vance & Hines Side Shots exhuast. I got
it Dyno tuned in March
2010 and it made 81.12 rwhp, and 79 lbs/ft torque - it's definitely a
torquemonster. Also, the video does not do the Exhaust justice, it's louder in person. I will
try to upload some better riding videos, but I was just anxious to get a
quick video on a nice spring day.
2013 Harley Iron 883 Test Ride! | TestRides
I've been looking at, and thinking about, the Harley Iron 883 for some time
now. I've thought they were cool since they came out in 2009. After buying
a used XL1200L Sportster last year, it's really got me thinking about the
Iron again. Went up to Northwest Harley-Davidson in Lacy, Wa. yesterday
just to look, and was talked into taking one for a test ride. Well I almost
rode her home, but couldn't quite get to terms with the price. So I came
home to think this over before jumping right in and taking it...
I love the idea of this small, simple, rough & tough little bike. Very drab
looking, so it doesn't scream "Look at me!" or "Watch how fast I can go!"
It reminds me of the UJM's of the '70's & '80's. Love this bike... I will
absolutely get one of these Iron 883's!
As for the test ride, it was awesome! I really thought it was going to feel
under powered, but that was not the case at all. Even though I was given
very strict restrictions on how to treat the new motor, she performed very
well within those parameters. I still can't believe they have test rides
like this for customers - how cool!
