Mopar 318 SB with mild cam and open headers
This is the engine I put in my 1968 Plymouth Valiant.
The 1974 Dodge Dart Swinger (before the paint job)
It's my first car. It's got a 318 4-barrel carb. Gold paint. Very comfortable seats. Fun to drive. Update: 3-14-11, I recently found out that the 318 in this car isn't original because I checked the engine block casting # and the heads' casting #. But I also found out that the 318 is from around 1985 or so. This might not seem like much unless you know that around 1985 the 318 were given smaller combustion chambers: also known as "Fast-Burn" heads (which gave them 9:1 compression), revised spots of the spark plugs, and even roller lifters. To verify that I actually had roller lifters, I myself personaly, pulled of the intake manifold and to my surprise, there were roller lifters. Pretty neat huh.
