2002 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 M6 - Stock/Borla Exhaust Comparison Exhaust comparison between stock and
the Borla adjustable catback with the 1/4 plate, mainly to give people
ideas of what brand of Exhaust they
want, and how much better it sounds/looks over stock.
The completely closed plate is very quiet, and the 3/4 & wide open plate is
loud and can backfire a lot. I think the 1/4 plate is perfect.
Only other mods are SLP lid, UMI short stick, and Corsa clone Exhaust tips.
Better quality Borla-only Exhaust

yes... it is a ws6. i sold the ws6 hood and put a trans am hood on it (i
find them better looking).
the 'noise' you hear on the 1-2 shift is coins/keys jangling in the cup
holder. I did NOT miss 2nd gear.
mods were as follows:
GTP stage 2 heads, lsx 90mm intake/tb, underdrive pulley, slp airlid,
smooth bellows, custom tune, custom grind cam (.591/.595, 230/232 112lsa),
longtubes, cat delete, 3" cutout, B&B catback with quad tips.
stock trans with B&M shifter, ram HD clutch, adjustable master cylinder.
Moser 9" with aluminum center section, 3.90 gears with detroit locker
susp: stock front, adjustable rear shocks, BMR panhard rod, double

2001 Formula Stock motor doing wheelie
Took my 2001 Formula to the track, its got an SS4000 converter, QA1
Suspension, and 3.73 gears. I broke two 10 bolts in 2 weeks, so I put a
Moser 12 bolt in it. Suspensions is set up amazing, and for a stock motor,
stock manifolds and stock cats, its running very well, and pulling the
tire(s?) about 5" for 8 ft or so.

Silver exterior/grey interior
I'm planing on removing the red pin striping on the exterior of the car. up
close it does not look like it's a very professional job and doesn't look
great. Also I don't want the initials of the previous owner on the car :P
