RX7 S2 Wet Oran Park GP Circuit Chasing LJ Torana
Round 4 CSCA (Combined Sports Car Association) Super Sprint.
Series 2 RX7 with standard S3 motor, modified Nikki carby, Racing Beat Intake Housing, Single 2.5" Exhaust with two Redback Silencers and a 4.1 locked diff.... It's such a great little motor as you can hear!
I used higher gears in the corners to try and avoid wheel spin as the tyres would not heat up to normal operating temperature and then 7,000 rpm on the straight bits chasing the immaculate LJ Torana. I think it's driven by Jason Klumpp of the MG Car Club of Newcastle.
Brocks Torana XU1
This shows Brocks Torana XU-1 racing at a local meeting in the hands of Anton Stevens. The Ron Sylvester Chev runs a potent small block chevy and slicks and the Torana was on street rubber. The 3 Fiat Abarth cars are super light 2.0 litres and quick plus the Schnitzer BMW won the first race from a Fiat. Angus Fogg was in the Green Mini. Some fantastic cars and racing over 3 days. I will include the Musclecars as a video soon.
