1956 Golden Hawk Restoration History in Pictures
This is a pictorial representation of the five year project to restore my
1956 Studebaker Golden Hawk. This video just covers the body portion of the
restoration. The engine, transmission, interior, and other mechanical
components are not covered here. The car was purchased in October 1983 and
it was completed in 1988.
1957 Ford Custom 300 2 Door - GONE!
This 1957 Ford Custom 300 2 Door survivor is powered by a 272, 3 speed,
overdrive. It is believed the 31,609K miles are true first time around
miles. The exterior has been repainted once, but the interior is factory,
and it has a working radio and heater. If you remember when this car was
new, and you couldn't afford it then, or if you have fond memories of a
1957 Ford Custom 300 2 door, you owe it to yourself to own this one. It is
just perfect in every way.

1957 Ford Fairlane Club Victoria Hardtop
Engine: 360 hp, 5.0 roller cam, fuel injection, mass air, computer, and
Edelbrock aluminum heads, E303 Cam, BBK headers, MDS ignition, 24lbs
injectors,70mm , k&n filter , thermostat controlled electric fan, march
polished serpentine pulleys
Transmission: Four speed AOD
Differential: 3:70 POSI 9" ford
Steering/ power r&p
Suspension Ididit Tilt steering column.
Power R&P package. Classic custom steering wheel. Fatman 3 inch dropped
After market over size 1 inch sway bars front and rear . New front and rear
springs. 3 inch drop blocks in rear.
Brakes: Front: 1977 Ford Granada 11 inch rotors and calipers.
Rear: rebuilt original 1957 Ford drums.
Exhaust: Borla 2-inch stainless steel
mufflers with stainless steel tailpipes.
Exterior: DuPont Colonial White and Spectramaster Blue. All window exterior
Interior: Full custom interior. Power windows installed in front doors;
using original handles as controls, with mid-eighties Ford window motors
grated to original regulators. Dash gauge panel was adapted from a 1988
Thunderbird with sport package option.
Air conditioning. 2 speed electric wipers. Original radio retro fitted and
is now IPOD/MP3 ready/10 disc CD player.

Restoration Of My 1978 Ford Escort
