"This is Canadian Touring Car" is back for it's second season, following the the 2011 Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championship presented by Continental Tire. Each weekend we explore the world of Canadian Touring Car racing, the cars, teams, drivers, struggles and successes.
Alex Healy, named "Up and Coming Canadian Road Racer of the Year" for 2009 by Inside Track Motorsports News had a great start and finished strong that year. In 2010, the family made the decision to join Lombardi Honda Racing, but when the sponsorship and budgets ran dry, Healy was forced to sit out for the last five races of the season. Healy's back in 2011 with his old car, his old team and is looking to put the 2010 season behind him - proving that he's matured on and off the track.
