The car (chassis #104) was built in 1983 and bought by Joest Racing which used the car in many races between 1983 and 1986. In 1984 the 956-104 took part in the 1000km of Nurburgring Nordschelife with Ayrton Senna, Henri Pescarolo and Stefan Johansson. The Porsche 956 is moved by a 2.65L turbocharged Flat-6 engine which is able to produce around 635 hp. Nowdays the car is owned by Alexander Seibold. 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder First Test: Fastest 0-60 Time Ever? Plus Porsche 959! - Ignition Ep. 109
On this week's Ignition, Carlos Lago has a second go at Porsche's 918 hypercar. The goal: to run the 918 through the full gauntlet of MT's instrumented testing, including 0-60, quarter mile, braking, figure 8, and a blistering real-time hot lap around Big Willow race track with pro driver Randy Pobst. Carlos also gets a rare chance to experience the 918's ancestor, the Porsche 959. The 959 was a remarkable piece of automobile history that was decades ahead of its time with much of it's technology only appearing in common vehicles within the last ten years or so. The 918 attempts something very similar, featuring very advanced technology, including a naturally aspirated V8 that works with a seamlessly integrated electric motor to provide extra Boost. Bmw Sauber F1 vs Porsche 956 Group-C on Nurburgring
心血來潮,將Nurburgring兩個指標性的車輛onboard結合在一起 抓對廝殺一番 影片下方車輛為Porsche 956 Group-C,上方則為Bmw Sauber F1 影像的聲音來源是擷取Bmw Sauber F1,956 Group-C則是消音 以影片來看兩者的跑道長度大致應該一致 因為Nurburgring的跑道長度做過許多次的更改 早期規劃有20.832公里,22.810公里,24.433公里,25.378公里 目前的跑道規劃則是20.6公里 雖然影片中所跑的確切長度我不得而知 但youtube影片網中FOKforum網友有提到Bmw Sauber F1跑的是24.433公里舊跑道 藉由直接抓對廝殺的畫面來看,此兩者所跑的跑道長度應 該大致相同 【但基本上24.433公里我則不認為,因為若屬實,956以6分41 秒上下跑完24.433公里 與最速的6分11.13秒跑完20.832公里。3.6公里的長度差距要以 30秒完成 那剩下的3.6公里需要平均高於時速432的速度才能達成,所 以這是我質疑的一點】 當然,這些無法與Lauda 和 Bellof跑的時間做比較,因為跑道長度不同 【ps1 : Niki Lauda 跑的是Nordschleife incl. GP track, 22.810km (22.835 km as from 1930)。 在1975年的German GP 以 Ferrari 312 B3跑出6:58.60秒平均時速195.36 km/h的成績】 【ps2 : Stefan Bellof跑的是Old Nordschleife excl. GP Track,20.832km。 在1983年的1000公里大賽,以Porsche 956 Group-C廠車跑出6:11.13秒,平均時速達202.08 km/h的最速成績】 而且Bmw Sauber F1也因為這是示範表演性質 因此在變速箱與性能上有所限制,最高速度限制在275km/h (ps:這點可由賽道後端的直線尾速上感受得到956確實是比 強悍,追上了好幾秒) 加上兩個直線賽段Nick Heidfeld也刻意讓速度稍微慢了下來 所以基本上Bmw Sauber F1未盡全功,這是比較讓人感到遺憾的地方 但956影片並不是1983年Stefan Bellof開的956最速成績影片 而是在1983年由Derek Bell所駕駛的956 Group-C Derek Bell駕駛的這輛956與未盡全功的Bmw Sauber F1 在最終直線前的天橋,兩者的秒差相差不到3秒 以956 ~620 PS/860 kg的表現來看,確實讓人眼睛一亮 以利曼賽車規格與F1兩者的實力差距,我想彎道多的賽道F 1有利 直線長距離賽道應該兩者可就難說了? 但比較弔詭的是在956的onboard影片中的1分20秒處 竟然出現被Jacky Ickx開同型的956狂巴,再看看其驚人的速度,短短40秒就消 失在鏡頭裡 若是以Jacky Ickx該輛956的單圈成績,鐵定將這次示範表演的Bmw Sauber F1巴到沒找 只是,影片看看就好,各項環境因素皆不相同,比較只是 參考 歡喜就好 順便整理一下Nurburgring各賽段最速成績與車輛 賽道:Old Nordschleife excl. GP Track, 20.832km; 6:11.13 -- 202.08 km/h -- Porsche 956 / ~ 620 PS/860 kg / Stefan Bellof, 1000 km race 1983 (practice session) 【這應該是最速紀錄,因為平均時速高達202.08km/h】 賽道:Nordschleife excluding GP track, 20.6 kms 6:55* -- 平均時速178.699 km/h -- Radical SR8 / 360 PS/650 kg / Michael Vergers Race cars: 7:00* -- 平均時速176.25 km/h -- BMW M3 GTR / 450 PS/1100 kg 賽道:Nordschleife incl. shortened GP track / 24.433 km (as used for the VLN long distance championship) 8:10.018 平均時速179.50 km/h -- Alzen Porsche 996 Biturbo / 600 PS /1500 kg in race trim 賽道:Nordschleife incl.
