1984 Mazda RX7 bought for $200 first start up after being parked for 4 years. And yes, it's running on 4 year old gas too (with a little help from some starter fluid)

Modified 1974 Ford Cortina 2000E 2.8 litre V6
Camera phone video of the engine in my 1974 Cortina V6 project running for the first time in over 10 years. Last ran in 1998, started again in 2008. After sitting in a damp lock up for over 10 years I was worried the engine might be seized. However, cleaning some corroded connections, putting some fuel into the carburettor and a few blasts of Easi-Start no-one was more surprised than me that not only did the engine turn over but it fired up and ran pretty well too! Had to take a quick video to prove that it still worked after all this time. Engine note sounded particularly nice as there's no rear silencer!
