WARNING: Before you buy a Dodge Intrepid 2.7L or Chrysler Concorde 2.7L
1998-2004 Dodge Intrepids & Chrysler Concordes that are equipped with the
2.7 v6 are sensitive to on-time maintenance. The main reason for most
vehicles break down to begin with is due to neglect and abuse. However,
most cars can handle neglect and abuse much better than the 2.7 v6. Well
maintained 1 and 2 owner vehicles with 100's of thousands of miles are
proof that maintenance is ALWAYS the key.
I made this video to help current or potential Intrepid buyers. In no way
am I defending them nor do i claim that this 2.7 v6 is a great motor. My
best advice is that if you are looking at buying an Intrepid 2.7 or
Concorde 2.7 to PASS on it unless you are getting a really good deal, or if
you have proof of proper maintenance always done on time. And if not, go
and get an Intrepid with the 3.2 v6 / 3.5 v6.
Video filmed September 2012. Comments disabled as of 4.29.2014 due to
numerous comments saying I'm defending this motor. I made this to help
current 2.7 owners or potential owners, and nothing more.
