2014 Ford Transit Connect Wagon Car Video Reveal @ 2012 LA Auto Show
http://www.autobytel.com/ford/transit Autobytel recently caught up with Ford Transit Connect Marketing Manager Marc A. Rogowski for a closer look at the civilian version of the 21st century utility wagon at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show. The 2014 Ford Transit Connect Wagon was revealed to the public here at the Los Angeles Auto Show and you should see this vehicle hitting dealer lots in the 4th quarter of 2013. The Wagon model is completely new compared to the current Transit Connect van that is on the market. The big different is that the Transit Connect Van is a commercial vehicle while the Wagon is a passenger vehicle. There will be 2 wheelbases available: the short wheelbase can seat up to 5 passengers while the long wheelbase will seat up to 7 passengers. The standard engine will be a 2.5 liter 4-cylinder with a 1.6 liter EcoBoost engine available as an option. The EcoBoost should net up to 30 MPG on the highway. The 3 trims levels will consist of the XL, XLT, and a top of the line Titanium trim. The Titanium comes with leather interior, MyFord Touch, Navigation, Reverse Camera, and more. There will also be an available glass panoramic roof. Previously the Transit Connect was seen as a small business vehicle. The 7 passenger can not only haul people; but the 2nd and 3rd row seats can fold flat, giving you a ton of cargo space. This vehicle is aimed at customers who live a very active lifestyle. 2012 Ford Fiesta Road Test & Car Review

The base model sedan starts at $13,200 with the top of the line SES hatchback going for $17,500. The hatchback is a 5 door design which is much better looking than the sedan. There is some European flavor in there. The 2012 Ford Fiesta is a great competitor in the sub-compact car class. The 2012 Ford Fiesta is powered by a 1.6 liter 4-cylinder engine that puts out 120 horsepower and 116 lb-ft. of torque. Not a ton of power but the Fiesta is small and 120 HP is good enough to get the job done. The great thing about the small engine is the wonderful fuel economy. The 2012 Ford Fiesta gets 29 MPG in the city and 38 MPG on the highway. Those numbers are tough to beat! 2014 Mazda6 Test Drive & Car Video Review

This 3rd generation Mazda6 builds on the success of its predecessors while still maintaining an affordable base price at $20,880. If you have to buy a new sedan then might as well go for one that looks great! The mid-sized sedan segment is not very exciting even though it is quite competitive. Most vehicles in this category all have the same styling and can get lost in a sea of the mundane. But the 2014 Mazda6 could be the exception. Mazda is a passionate car company looking to make fun automobiles. The exterior of the Mazda6 has been completely redesigned. Gone is the smiley grille replaced by a much more vertical and pronounced piece. This great new look can be seen on other Mazda vehicles, most notably the CX-5. While most manufacturers are moving to the cab forward design, Mazda has instead gone for a cab rearward look by stretching the sheet metal. The lines on the side seem to keep flowing. This car is not just about form; the new model also uses a lot more high strength steel. Mazda has made a conscious effort to convert the Mazda6 from a regular mid-sized car into a premium car. From the back the simple design looks very upscale, almost like a Lexus ES. On the inside Mazda has done a lot to compliment the outside. The gauges and instrument panel have all been updated. The 2014 Mazda6 is available in 3 trim levels: Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring. The higher the trim level the more standard features you get. You probably have heard about SKYACTIV technology on many of the new Mazda vehicles. This powerplant has now made its way onto the 2014 Mazda6 making the car more fuel efficient. The engine is a 2.5 liter 4-cylinder 184 horsepower and 185 lb-ft. of torque. Fuel economy is excellent at 26 MPG in the city and 38 MPG on the highway. The 2014 Mazda6 can satisfy a whole range of automotive shoppers; from those who just need a commuter car to the enthusiast looking for a fun daily driver. 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish Sports Car Video @ 2012 LA Auto Show

The Vanquish nameplate has been resurrected and this new model was on display at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show. Like the rest of the Aston Martin family, the 2014 Vanquish sports a bold sexy exterior, huge V-12 engine, and tons of luxury features and amenities. Autobytel's Jeff Glucker was on hand to interview Matthew Clarke who is the Head of PR for the Americas. The big news this year for Aston Martin at the 2012 LA Auto Show was indeed this awesome 2014 Vanquish. The car will be on sale early next year (2013) and features a 6.0 liter V-12 engine at the front of the car. This engine will have enough power to get from 0-60 MPH in less than 4 seconds. The Vanquish nameplate has previously been around but was halted back in 2007. Mr. Clarke tells us that Aston Martin wanted to bring back this iconic nameplate but that they were waiting for the right car. This new Vanquish will be replacing the DBS model in Aston Martin's line-up. There are elements in both design and engineering taken from the Aston Martin One-77 limited production vehicle that have found their way onto the Vanquish. Some exterior cues include the taillights, the crease down the side, and the mirrors to name a few. 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray - Super Car
The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray won't be on sale until late summer or early fall, but if you're too impatient to wait until then you can buy one this weekend. The rights to the very first seventh generation 'Vette to off of the assembly line will be sold for charity at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, this Saturday night. The high bidder for VIN #0001 will get to spec their car out as they please, with the proceeds of the sale going toward the College of Creative Studies in Detroit, which has a renowned automotive design program. This won't be the first time that the first of a new GM model has been offered at a Barrett-Jackson auction. NASCAR team owner Rick Hendrick snagged the first 2010 Chevy Camaro SS for $350,000 at the 2009 Las Vegas event, and the first convertible version of the car there the following year for $205,000. He also picked up the first 2011 Corvette Z06 Carbon edition and #0069 Camaro ZL1 at other events, marking him as the one to beat for the Stingray.
