The Chevrolet Corvette returns to the famed German track - the Nurburgring - to test the 2012 ZR1 model. This year's test run eclipses the time set in 2008 by more than six seconds.
2012 Camaro ZL1 Takes on Nurburgring | Chevrolet
Watch as the 580-horsepowerCamaro ZL1 carves up Nurburgring in 7:41.27 - bringing the Camaro neck and neck with the Porsche 911 turbo S and Lamborghini Murciélago lap times.
The Camaro ZL1 used for the lap was a production-intent model, with no performance modifications, driven by Camaro Performance Engineer Aaron Link.
2012 Corvette Z06 Laps the Nurburgring
Corvette engineer, Jim Mero, records a lap of 7:22.68 in the 2012 Corvette Z06 with the Z07 chassis package at Germany's Nurburgring -- 20 seconds better than the previous Z06 fast lap recorded in 2005.

Koenigsegg Agera R - 402km/h fly by on the Nurburgring!

Last couple of days I visited the Gran Turismo Events on the Nurburgring. Koenigsegg Norway also enjoyed this great event with their Official Test Car 7031 Streetfighter and the World Record Car Agera R.
When the awesome 1115 HP Koenigsegg Agera R passed the pit lane on Döttinger Höhe on Thursday everyone was amazed by the speed of the car.
Using the whole 3.5 kilometer straight, the Koenigsegg logged a "quite impressive" 401.6 km/h before braking before the bridge at Tiergarten.
The Agera R has a normal Koenigsegg road setup, was driven on 98 oktan fuel and on standard Michelin Pilot tires.
