RC ADVENTURES - ALTERED BEAST 4X4 - Rebuild BV5 - Scale Engine, Winch
http://www.RCSparks.com - This is a great time for me to start on a little side project I wanted to get going. I purchased a tube chassis from ebay, that had a painted Ford body I liked. Not only that.. it had some customizations that I really liked. I see much potential in this rig, so I figured it was time to bust out the old BEAST TRUCK. It has seen so many RC ADVENTURES videos, and entertained millions.. so, to pay it the respect its owed, and overhaul and restoration is required! I start by inspecting my one of my original TTC Trucks I build called "The Beast". It was based off of an Axial SCX10 Trail Truck - a Toyota Honcho, I believe. After many upgrades and wins, and failures, the truck has been through hell and back. I hadn't done any maintenance and NOW IM PAYiNG THE PRiCE! I figured this was as good of times as any to show off what happens when you neglect awesome Radio Control hobby products after heavy use! Now I have a complete rebuild on my hands.. No worries though, Im up to the challenge! Where I get my RC's: http://www.PMHobbycraft.ca RC ADVENTURES™/ RCSparks Studio™ © 2013 Medic Media Productions Inc.. All rights reserved. RC ADVENTURES - Learning to race TRAXXAS XO-1 SUPER CARS (Locked)
Click Here To Subscribe! ► http://bit.ly/JOovvU - Just getting used to the power of the Traxxas XO-1's - this was Everett's First time out with his XO-1 (Green) - and a first for Both of us Racing these Beasts. Heavy on the Throttle and these things can be squirrely if there are too many rocks on the road.. SO, we didn't have a broom - and we got as many of the rocks off as we could (that's what she said). The film turned out pretty good, and both of us look forward to the next season of racing. The Winter snow is almost here.. and the days are getting colder. This is a great film for us to remember "what it was like" when it was warm out.. haha :) The Traxxas XO-1 is an amazing machine. Neither one of us has hooked up our iphones to the controller (in fact, Everett doesn't have one) - so we left the vehicle's "locked". I believe they currently go 60mph (but can go to 100mph when unlocked) We certainly plan to unlock their true potential - but not until the Spring of 2014. Here's some specs from the Traxxas Website: Castle Mamba Monster Extreme Speed Control Traxxas Big Block Brushless Motor TQi 2.4GHz Radio System with Docking Base* Integrated speed, RPM, and voltage Telemetry System* Patent-pending Cush Drive™ Factory Equipped with Traxxas Power Cell 3S 5000mAh LiPo batteries Shaft-driven All Wheel Drive Machined 6061 Aluminum C-Hubs, Steering Knuckles, Axle Carriers, and Shock Towers Hard-anodized GTR Shocks Steel Splined (SS) dual-CV Driveshafts Where I get my RC's: http://www.PMHobbycraft.ca . RC ADVENTURES - TRUCK CLiMBS STAiRS - 1/5th Scale RC Truck vs Concrete Porch (Electric)
http://www.RCSparks.com - SIZE DOES MATTER! I have never seen an RC Climb Stairs before. I've tried with other models.. but always came up with disappointment. Not TODAY! This must be among the first videos of its kind to show the possibilites of large scale trucks. Granted.. this model needs more improvement - including more Wheel Speed, Electrics upgrade, Gears in the Axle Housing, and a new set of ESC's.. Not to mention REAR STEER! That is next on my list. But .. for the time being.. I hope you enjoy this short look at what the future holds.. You CAN NOT BUY THIS TRUCK. It is a special build made from parts and an Exceed MaxStone 1/8th Scale Rock Crawler.
