1973 VW Camper Bus for Sale: VW Weekender
Visit http://www.sunsetclassics.com/1973-vw-bus-weekender/ to see this
beauty of a Camper Bus for sale from Sunset Classics. This is a 1973 "tin
top" VW Camper Bus, or "weekender" as they are also called. This bus has
all of the features of a normal VW Camper Bus without the pop top.
The blue paint on this bus looks like a beautiful candy coating. The paint
is new and the bus was painted in the original colors. It goes without
saying that the interior received one of the nicest renovations in history.
Sound deadening was used under the carpet for a more peaceful and quite
drive. The headliner is original and it looks better than any restored bus
out there. The rear seat folds down into a bed, and there are two tables
that fold away making for a functional and spacious interior. There is a
sink, multiple tables, spacious storage areas and seating for many. You
will love camping and traveling in this beautiful blue and white VW Camper
Please click the link above to see the full description as well as the

bus into your garage for some fun summer camping!

Forgotten Volkswagen Single Cab
How does an old Volkswagen Single Cab get buried under 3 feet of dirt?
Took 45 years to bury this Volkswagen and almost 2 days to dig it out.
Have a look. Took the Syncro for a Sunday drive and spotted an old single
cab in the foothills outside Idaho Falls. This is nine hours worth of
digging condensed into a 15 minute video. It had been sitting in a wash
since 1967. It was buried under two feet of dirt but it's extremely rust
free given the circumstances. The drop gates hadn't seen the light of day
for 45 years. IF YOU HAVE A VOLKSWAGEN THAT NEEDS RESCUED OR KNOW OF ONE
GIVE US A CALL AT (208)200-6053. We also consign Volkswagens if you have
one you want to sell. Thanks Skeeters.
Thanks for all the phone calls and emails about Forgotten VW's that we have
received. This video has helped rescue several abandoned and otherwise
forgotten VW's that may have been left for dead including a very cool 1960
VW Double Cab that we got out of Missouri that had been sitting since 1965.
We also recently returned from Mission Viejo California where we picked up
a 1961 SO-23 Westfalia. This bus had been sitting since 1980. We got a
tip on that bus after someone saw the Forgotten Single Cab video. Give us
a call today if you know of one. Thanks again. Skeeters (208)200-6053

1958 Old VW Bus Discovery, Part 3, Restoration safari van, 36hp motor rebuild, Runs & Drives!
A continuing series about a 1958 vw bus discovery and restoration. In this
video I rebuild the seized 36hp engine and make the bus run and drive for
the first time in over 3 decades. Previous owners Chris and Beth tell some
really great stories of cross country traveling back in the hippie days in
Glinda (the buses name). See the bus run and drive. In the next episode
already out (1958 VW Bus (part 4) we drive the bus over the rockies and
beyond. A must see video. Peace and love everyone!
UPDATE: We restored the bus and drove it over the rocky mountains with a 50
year old 36hp crank start motor! Watch me crank her up and go. Please watch
all the great sequels to see the awesome adventures road tripping in a 58
safari bus resurrected from the summer of love. These vids are cracklin'
with positive vibes and energy!
I am now looking for another old vw to restore. The older the better.
If you have or know where I can find another really old vw anywhere in the
US in any condition please let me know.
