With some help of my friend we finally started up Bus!
1967 Volkswagen 13 Window Deluxe Microbus is now completed!
This is the '67 VW 13 Window Deluxe Bus I did the bodywork, paint and partial re-assembly on several months ago. The owner just completed the final assembly. It turned out great!

A continuing series about a 1958 vw bus discovery and restoration. In this video I rebuild the seized 36hp engine and make the bus run and drive for the first time in over 3 decades. Previous owners Chris and Beth tell some really great stories of cross country traveling back in the hippie days in Glinda (the buses name). See the bus run and drive. Many of us are dreamers, striving toward our dreams and goals, stopping at nothing to reach that finish line. Rolando Alvarado's 1965 Type II Volkswagen Bus took 30+ years to cross the metaphorical finish line - but what a great finish line to cross!
Growing up, Rolando was always a fan of the air-cooled Volkswagen scene and it quickly became a personal goal of his to acquire one. It was his father's 1954 European oval window VW Bug that got his heart pumping and started his love for the air-cooled engines. Despite that, it took a while for Rolando to realize his dream. It wasn't until 1980 that he finally got his very first VW. Of course, being the die-hard VW head that he is, it ended up being a 69' VW Bug.
The first time I laid eyes on this Bus, I just knew that there had to be a story behind it. To many, a Bus may just be another form of transportation, but to me this iconic Bus was a moment in a time when life was a lot simpler - the time of Wood Stock, hippies running through Haight and Ashbury in San Francisco, Jefferson Airplane...good times. During the photo shoot, this Bus almost became a time capsule to channel what life was like back then - an icon to remind us how things used to be. Read more...motormavens.com

This 1965 VW Bus for sale has been lowered and it features a 1776 cc high performance VW air cooled engine for a thrilling ride. There are brand new tires on the bus and new rear brakes. The transmission was just taken out and new seals were installed so the transmission should be nice and dry. While the engine and transmission were out we had the engine compartment detailed and painted. This Volkswagen bus will really draw a crowd at the next car show. It's really a nice, great looking classic 21 window VW Bus!
The interior is in great shape. The headliner, seat upholstery, door panels and floor mats are all in good condition. This bus is complete with nicely reupholstered very hard to find middle seat. The side windows pop out and the front windows are the coveted Safari Windows.
