The new Rover V8 in my MGB - Starting for the first time
So, after a year or so I have finaly inserted a new V8 in my MGB. This
video show the very first (and successful) attempt at starting the new
engine. After 7 years on the road, the original engine's block cracked 1
month before I retired and moved to Lyme Regis in July 2007. I've never
performed anything major like this before, so this was a big and anxious
Rover P6 V8 Acceleration WOW!!
Getting from minor road to major with a tight clutch. Sounds impresive -
did'nt help child's car sickness though!
According to the chap driving behind us we produced a minor plume of smoke
from the tyres - so can that be classed as a burnout ?)
The Rover V8 engine has been fitted to many great vehicles over 30 years -
TVR, Landrover, even LDV Sherpa ambulances and Police vans!
There is another video on youtube that shows an old Ferguson tractor with
Rover V8 engine fitted!! Not original equipment I would guess
Bowler Wild Cat - Top Gear - BBC
Richard set out to find a cheap fun car. He failed on the cheap part, but
what he did find was the Bowler Wild Cat, an off-road sensation which
caused Richard to dub himself a 'driving god'. The Stig then takes the Wild
Cat out for a spin on the test track.

V8 Range Rover. Cold Start, Drive, Backfire!
My 1984 Range Rover 3.5 Carb. Backfires badly when cold. Doesnt sound too
bad in this video, but when you are in the car, sounds like a shotgun being
fired! Also has a holed Exhaust, but i
have a new stainless steel one waiting to go on.
