65 Mustang Fastback Restoration Project
This is my 1965 Mustang Fastback I rescued from a field rusting away. I finished it around July of 2008 in my back yard garage with no professional assistance at all. It took me about 26 months to complete. It has a 302 Ford motor and an 5 Speed manual transmission. I restored this car to the information on the original data plate on the door that included the body color and interior. The stripe is unique in that I added a darker red to the Poppy Red body color to get a stripe that is a little darker but blends in with the factory color. This car features four wheel disc brakes made from all Ford parts.

Consequently, based on the GTX now the new model. However, this lasted only one year. Completely new was the coupé body, technically, everything remained the same. Available were still the 7.2-liter with two power ratings and the seven-liter Hemi V8. Due to sharp decline in sales of the GTX was taken as a stand-alone model in the fall of 1971 from the program, in the model years 1972 to 1974 there were but for the continuing Plymouth Road Runner GTX a package. 71 Plymouth GTX Startup
1971 Plymouth GTX that I've been working on getting back on the road. We got it as a "almost running" car. "Almost running" was somewhere between very generous and flat out false. We've ended up replacing all the bushings in the suspension and rebuilding the engine and the brakes. Now it's getting to the point that it's driveable and hoo-boy is it a hoot. Always fun to do the no tag, no muffler shakedown run :) Here's some specs: 440cu (7.2L) V8 with 727 Torqeflite reverse manual valve body; 8 3/4 rear end with 3.91 gearset. All going out to a pair of 15x10 Centerline rims with BF Goodrich 295/50R15 tires. Still not sure if we're going to be putting in the 4-speed or keeping the brutal automatic. Such a fun car. My little camera can't capture the amount of noise this thing puts out. It currently is just running around an old set of 2.5" pipes with no mufflers that end somewhere under the rear seats. Can't get enough Mopar!

1972 Plymouth GTX / Roadrunner Vs. 1994 Impalla SS with 20's
This video was to prove that a 318 can be made to make power under low budget applications. Although the block was re-sleeved to except 340 pistons, the engine had a 780 Holley installed after this video and we gained approx 25-35% more HP but we were always messing with the carb, the edelbrock might seem like a small carb for 625cfm but it works well...This is just one of those engines that has response and does not hold back, amazes everyone in our group and people who attempt a take down of this mopar. This is no means the fastest car ever...but it holds its own and i am having fun.
