The ugly stick had quite an effect on Acura's once best-selling TL.
Thankfully, the company has done a great job with refining the look to
bring back customers scared away by the controversial styling. Once you get
past the exterior, you will find a comfortable, roomy, refined, and tech
laden cabin that will have most shoppers quite impressed. If you are in the
market for a spacious, sport luxury sedan with strong value, this TL should
be at the top of your list.

2012 Acura TL SH-AWD Test Drive & Luxury Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/acura/tl/2012/ The 2012 Acura TL SH-AWD is not
your normal everyday luxury sedan. This car features a 305 horsepower V-6 engine,
6-speed manual transmission, and Super Handling-All Wheel Drive. The TL
falls right in the middle of Acura's luxury car line-up and offers the
perfect blend of performance and luxury plus it looks so sexy. The base
price for the 2012 Acura TL is $35,705 with the top of the line model
starting at $45,185.
The 2012 Acura TL SH-AWD is powered by a 3.7 liter V-6 engine featuring
VTEC and a high flow Exhaust system.
This engine makes 305 horsepower and 273 lb-ft. of
torque. Fuel economy is 18 MPG in the city and 26 MPG on the highway with
the automatic transmission. The entry level models get a 3.5 liter V-6
engine that puts out 280 horsepower and 254 lb-ft. of
torque. Besides being less expensive, this engine gets much better gas
mileage at 20 MPG in the city and 29 MPG on the highway.
The interior of the 2012 Acura TL SH-AWD is quite comfortable. The seats
produced by Acura may just be the best in the business. The driver seat is
10-way adjustable while the passenger is an 8-way adjustable unit. Both
front seats are heated and you can opt for the Advance Package which adds
cooling. The rear seats are spacious and can comfortably accommodate 3
passengers. Other interior features are the dual-mode climate control,
Bluetooth, Push-Button Start, optional ELS Stereo Surround System, and
Navigation just to name a few.
The Acura TL is one of the IIHS Top Safety Picks for 2012 and with good
reason. The TL benefits from ABS, Electronic Brake Distribution, and Brake
Assist. The Vehicle Stability Assist works to keep the vehicle on the road
at all times. A wonderful six-airbag system helps to decrease crash
severity for the occupants.
The 6-speed manual gearbox paired with the SH-AWD system results in a
competent performance car. With the 2012 Acura TL SH-AWD you are getting
the best of both worlds!

2012 Acura TL Review - Kelley Blue Book
FOR PRICING & SPECS ON THIS CAR VISIT:
Due in large part to over-reaching styling the latest generation TL
received a tepid welcome when it launched in 2009. In an effort to keep it
competitive Acura remade the TL via a mid-cycle refresh, tweaking its
exterior and updating its powertrain. The result is a more efficient luxury
sedan that's easier on the eyes.
2012 Acura TL 3.5L Start Up, Quick Tour, & Rev With Exhaust View - 11K
2012 Acura TL
This TL has the entry 280 HP 3.5L SOHC VTEC V6 & it's paired to a 6 speed
auto which is new for 2012.
Decent car but there were a few quick here & there in terms of Fit &
Finish. The 3.5L delivers impressive MPG's but I would high recommend the
3.7L V6 for the extra punch (305 HP). Car of this class in standard form
ought to be delivering over 300 HP.
Would really be great is if Honda/Acura brought back the Type-S & offer it
with a Twin turbo V6 Mmmmmm

2012 Cadillac CTS versus Infiniti M56x All-Wheel-Drive Mashup Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2012 Cadillac CTS Sport wagon and the
Infiniti M56 both come with all-wheel-drive. The Cadillac's Borg Warner
system "uses sophisticated controls and algorithms to augment vehicle
handling and traction by optimally using grip at both the front and rear
wheels," according to Cadillac. It can shift up to 100% of available torque
to the front axle if needed.
The 2012 Infiniti's M56x All-Wheel-Drive system is designed "specifically
for a front engine/rear-wheel drive biased setup. 0 to 50 percent of the
power can be sent to the front wheels for better control. The active brake
limited slip differential can shift power side to side. The system uses an
advanced torque split control strategy that automatically redistributes
torque to the wheels (0:100 up to 50:50 front to rear) according to road
and driving conditions." according to Infiniti.

when it's muddy, wet and slick? Watch the video to find out in this
All-wheel-drive mashup review.
