1970 Plymouth Road Runner Classic Car for Sale in MI Vanguard Motor Sales

http://www.ClassicCarBuyingSecrets.com Click now for an instant download on "How to Avoid the 7 Deadliest Mistakes of Buying a Classic Car Online"! Let's not waste any time on this brilliant green 1970 Road Runner. It's a 440 with a Six Pack, and it's probably the fastest car we have in the shop right now. It has been given a recent restoration, and the condition of the body and undercarriage is jaw-dropping. This is an off-the-charts amazing car. Why have a Road Runner without the high-impact color? The lime green paint is stunning. The straight, clean and solid body is wave free and rust free. All of the gaps, margins, panels, and door and trunk lips are clean, just the way you want them. The flat black hood and dust decal stripes along the flanks have been expertly installed. The chrome and stainless is extremely clean, and looks appropriate on the car. Honestly, it jumps out at you in the photos, doesn't it? Under the hood you'll find the 440 Six Pack engine, fully restored and highly detailed. The casting number on the motor is 2536430.10. That big air cleaner looks intimidating covering those three carburetors, and is properly detailed with a fresh coat of paint and a correct decal set. Take off that air cleaner and check out the Six Pack Holley carbs, as well as the Edelbrock intake. This Road Runner carries no performance-robbing accessories like power steering or power brakes—this is a man's car all the way through. Details like the radiator, Mopar battery, and Road Runner horn look to be brand new. The transmission is a 727 driving the 8.75" rear with 3:73 gears. The rust free, patch free floors are covered in the same paint color as the body, and looks tidy and clean. The suspension features new ball joints, sway bar links and new shocks. The springs have been painted and look brand new. The frame members have visible stamped part numbers, that's how clean they are. O2 sensors, a new gas tank, new fuel lines and new brake lines were also included in the restoration. The drum brakes stop the car confidently, although you need to give the pedal a good shove just like any car with manual brakes. A stainless steel Exhaust system with Dynamax mufflers has been recently installed that gives the big 440 a deep voice that doesn't get obnoxiously loud when all six barrels are wide open. Optional Dog Dish hubcaps sit on body matched painted wheels. The black and silver interior is simply spectacular, and surprisingly it goes very nicely with the green bodywork. The seats, door panels, carpets, headliner and the dash are all in great shape. The standard gauges are present, as well as an aftermarket column mounted tach and dual aftermarket water temperature and oil gauges mounted under the dash. A bench with a column-shifted automatic saves some weight. In back, the painted trunk has a new mat as well. Beautifully finished inside and out, it's ready to show at high-level events where it might be the subject of considerable speculation. This is just a cool car in great colors that is neck-snapping fast. What more do you want? Call today! 7 Days a Week 248-974-9513 This will NOT last!!! www.vanguardmotorsales.com

133023 / 1969 Plymouth Road Runner
For more information on this vehicle visit http://tinyurl.com/76lfcgh Envisioned by its owner as the perfect mix of classic muscle car attitude and first class modern performance, this 1969 Plymouth Road Runner is one of the finest Mopar pro-tourers we've ever featured! This Road Runner's complete rotisserie restoration began when Steve Koepke of Classic Ventures in Woodstock, Illinois meticulously stripped its solid original body, welded up a set of high quality quarters and block sanded every one of its facets until he had a smooth, consistent canvas. Once that canvas was fully prepped from top to bottom, a slick coat of Charcoal Gray urethane was expertly applied under bright red, horizontal pin stripes and buffed to the kind of brilliant wet-look shine that can only be achieved with today's advanced paint technology. The result is one super slick Mopar muscle car which wraps brutal performance in killer good looks! Raise the wide, Charcoal hood and you'll find a killer 500 cubic inch monster block which takes this Mopar from 'very appealing' to 'MUST HAVE'. At the top of that engine, a simple chrome breather funnels wind from a re-usable filter element to a giant Demon 850 carburetor that's juiced by fresh stainless fuel lines. At the base of that carburetor, an Indy dual plane intake sends a rich air/fuel mixture into aluminum Indy 440EZ-1 cylinder heads that are equipped with both Crane Cams hydraulic roller lifters and Harland Sharp roller rocker arms. Those heads are bolted to a familiar 440 block that's been bored 0.30 over and equipped with a complete Eagle stroker kit which includes an Eagle steel crank, Eagle H-beam connecting rods, SRP pistons with Speed Pro rings and Clevite bearings. The car's massive 11 to 1 compression is managed by a Competition hydraulic roller camshaft that's hooked to a Cloyes timing chain. And spent gases are efficiently expelled through a slick set of TTI ceramic coated long tube headers. Fire is supplied by an MSD Pro-billet distributor which shoots sparks through high performance Taylor plug wires. And cooling comes courtesy of a heavy duty aluminum radiator which sits in front of two quick spinning electric puller fans. Behind the big bore engine you'll find a slick shifting Centerforce hydraulic clutch that's connected to a Tremec 5-speed transmission and a stalwart Ford nine inch limited slip rear end which is complete with a Strange aluminum center section, Strange axle shafts and new 3.73 gears. Naturally, the car's old-school front torsion bar and rear leaf spring suspension has been exchanged for a more competent independent front, four link rear set up. And that new suspension is augmented with tubular control arms, a thick front sway bar, adjustable QA1 coil over shocks, fresh power rack and pinion steering and a Wilwood brake system which includes 11 inch slotted discs at all four corners. At the center of the car, custom fabricated, and custom welded, subframe connectors ensure the buff engine's ample torque doesn't manifest itself as unfortunate twist. And at the corners of the car, power flows through a sweet set of 18 inch, solid aluminum wheels that are wrapped in aggressive 245/40 front and 285/40 rear BF Goodrich G-Force T/A radials. Open this Plymouth's big, solid doors and sit down inside a cockpit where the timeless good looks of American muscle meld seamlessly with tasteful upgrades and modern conveniences. The custom leather and suede seats, which were supplied by Addison Auto Interiors of Addison, Illinois, are firm and feel much more upscale than traditional Mopar hardware. At the bottom of those seats, fresh Maroon carpet props a chrome Hurst shifter under a faux carbon fiber pistol grip handle. In front of the seats the car's pristine Maroon dash hangs a custom gauge panel, which is complete with stylish Auto Meter American Muscle gauges, beside a remote controlled Kenwood CD player and traditional buttons for the car's heat and air conditioning system. At the sides of the seats, custom Maroon and Black door panels hang pliable armrests between fresh stainless trim, new chrome window cranks and bright chrome door handles. And in front of the driver, a familiar Mopar Tuff Wheel spins around a rebuilt original steering column. http://www.ClassicCarBuyingSecrets.com Click now for an instant download on "How to Avoid the 7 Deadliest Mistakes of Buying a Classic Car Online"! Let's not waste any time on this Plum Crazy 1970 Road Runner. It's a 383 with a 4 speed manual trans, and it's one of my favorite cars we have in the shop right now. It has been given a recent restoration, and the condition of the body and undercarriage is stunning. This is an off-the-charts amazing car. This Road Runner has traveled across the United States, starting its life at the Los Angeles, California, assembly plant, and then on to New Mexico, Colorado, and up to Michigan. Meep Meep!! It has been restored and is extremely clean, straight, fast and fun to drive! Why have a Road Runner without the high-impact color? The FC7 In-violet high impact paint is extraordinary, and the Dust Trail stripes along the flanks have been expertly installed. The restoration included new hood pins as well. The straight, clean and solid body is wave free and rust free, and the gas is original. All of the gaps, margins, panels, and door and trunk lips are clean, just the way you want them. The chrome and stainless is new, impeccable and looks appropriate on the car. Honestly, it jumps out at you in the photos, doesn't it? Under the hood you'll find the rebuilt, date coded, 383ci engine, with high volume oil pump and performance purple camshaft. It's fully restored and highly detailed. The chrome air cleaner is sporting the "Coyote Duster" stickers and sits on top of the Holley 670cfm carb and Edelbrock Performer intake. Check out those painted valve covers! The orange paint stands out, it's a nice change from the usual chrome. You will also notice a rebuilt radiator, rebuilt alternator, electronic ignition and lightweight starter, Chrysler distributor, new master cylinder, Die Hard battery and of course, the Road Runner horn. The factory 4 speed (casting # C99129) manual transmission was rebuilt in 2009. Follow the rebuilt drive shaft, with new u-joints, down to the 8.75" sure-grip rear end with 3:55 gears. The Exhaust system features jet-coated headers, stainless steel 2.5" dual Exhaust, Dynamax stainless mufflers and chrome tips. The restoration included a new performance fuel pump, new fuel lines and gas tank. The rust free, scale free, patch free floors are covered in a beautiful coat of black paint, and the frame is in equally nice condition. Pinch welds and spot welds are visible on the frame and rockers. The suspension includes a new PST Poly front-end kit, new rear air shocks, new bearings, and new bushings on the front sway bar. Drum brakes stop the car confidently and a new steering box keeps it between the lines. Sitting at all four corners are a beautiful set of Rallye wheels and BF Goodrich Radial T/A's (245-60-14 rear, 205-70-14 front). Open the door and check out the spectacular black interior. The restoration included new bucket seats, rear bench upholstery, door panels, arm rests, carpet and rubber Road Runner mats. The new dash is straight and the gauges are renovated as well. There is an aftermarket SunPro tach mounted in the dash, and an aftermarket AM/FM/CD player to supply the tunes. The pistol grip shifter and wood steering wheel are nice touches. This is one excellent restoration. Out back the solid clean trunk has fresh carpet, a spare tire and car cover. Receipts of the restoration are included in the sale. Beautifully finished inside and out, it's ready to show at high-level events where it might be the subject of considerable speculation. This is just a cool car in great colors that is neck-snapping fast. What more do you want? Call today! 7 days a week 248-974-9513 www.vanguardmotorsales.com

133015 / 1969 Dodge Charger 500
For more information on this vehicle visit http://tinyurl.com/8643an8 If you're ready to join the exclusive list of 1969 Dodge Charger 500 owners, don't miss your chance to take home this pristine example. Fresh out of a $150k+ restoration and certified by Galen Govier as one of just 116 Hemi-equipped Charger 500's, this is a incredible piece of Mopar history. From the aggressive stance to the scalloped doors and hood, the '69 Charger has great lines to begin with. Expertly massaged and sprayed with an even coat of B5 Bright Blue Metallic, this example practically glows. A correct white bumblebee stripe with the integrated 500 logo adds some flair to the back end. Naturally, panel fitment is excellent with tight even gaps all the way around. The menacing fixed-light front end and blacked out grille look showroom fresh as does virtually every piece of trim on the car down to the Hemi badging. Glasswork is equally show-worthy. Pop the hood latches and you'll be greeted by a date code correct 426 Hemi producing an advertised 425hp. From the 26" radiator to the windshield wiper motorr on the firewall, every inch of this engine bay has been carefully restored to better-than-new condition. Best of all, the Hemi starts and idles with ease while sending some impressive sounds through the factory style Exhaust system. Backing that Hemi is an A727 3-speed automatic transmission that sends power to a stock rear end packed with 4.10 gears. Braking comes courtesy of power front discs and drums out back. Suspension is still the stock torsion bar setup up front with leaf springs our back. At the corner, 15 inch Magnum wheels are wrapped in red line Firestone tires. Glance underneath and you'll see factory correct overspray gracing the primer gray floor panels. Open the door and you'll find a classic blue vinyl interior. With bucket seats, a long center console and freshly restored instrumentation, the inside has a surprisingly luxurious feel. The optional Tic-Toc-Tac and Music Master AM radio add some extra flair. Documentation includes a full Galen Govier report done before the restoration verifying the car to be a true Hemi-equipped Charger 500. Also included is a large and comprehensive pile of receipts documenting the $150k+ investment it took to return the car to this condition. Clean Mopars never stay around our showroom for long...especially when they are certifiably rare Hemi cars. If you're ready to join the exclusive club of 1969 Charger 500 owners, don't miss your chance to bring this immaculately restored example home today.
