428 SCJ 1969 Cougar drags
First time out @ the Drags. Factory 428 SCJ with the W code 4.30 gear. Only 23 1969 Cougars were built with the 4.30 drag pak.
1968 Cougar evaluation run at Autobahn, Joliet, IL
1968 Mercury Cougar on an evaluation run by Henry V. at the Autobahn North 1.6 mile track.
After a recent build the Cougar is performing much better than expected, though it still needs to be dialed in a bit.

1969 Cougar XR7 Convertible Blu
A nice alternative...more of a luxury, personal car than its fraternal twin, the Mustang. Leather interior..and this one has a 351 c.i. engine, so it was capable enough! Hidden headlights in the fashion of the day! Great color!
1969 Mercury Cougar idle sounds
Windsor out to 392 (stroker). Pete Jackson gear drive, pretty hefty Comp cam. Mom's drag car. Sorry about the blankets and car cover, last minute video dad was pulling it in and I wanted to catch the sound. If you have any questions about the drivetrain I'd be happy to answer them.
