Not the best angle I know thanks to the ANDRA steward choosing to stand in the road but this RX7 bouces off the wall hard and then into the wall on the other side of the track. As far as I know the driver was fine.

Best Powerskids at Gazzanats 2011
Just get on it and see how long it'll smoke - that's what powerskids are all about. No brakes, just a heavy right foot and an arm full of steering lock, just watch out for those walls.





Australia's Quickest Nitrous Car - Wilson/Kryger Camaro
Edit: It's been pointed out there might be a couple of quicker Nitrous cars in Australia but regardless this car is pretty impressive so I'll let the title stand. I'm pretty sure this is Australia's quickest Nitrous car, although if I'm wrong someone will let me know. With a monster motor and massive gas kit the car runs some seriously quick times considering it's only on 10.5 rubber. It's still early days for the black Camaro, owned by Johnny Wilson and Simon Kryger, who knows how fast they'll get it going?





CRAZYE Torana - Breaks the wheelie bars
Filmed at Supernats in 2005, this Torana, blasts hard off the line but the wheelie bars let go and the driver gets more than he bargained for.

Ford V8 Singing on the Salt Lake - Speedweek 2009
Listen to this V8 Ford wail as it's put through it paces at Lake Gairdner in Aouth Australia during Speedweek 2009. Salt lake racing is highly addictive and should be approached with caution. The car is an EF Falcon sedan and it went 190mph+, it almost broke the 200mph mark that year, but they managed to go past 200mph this year. Well done guys.





Project Digger Burnout Testing
Back when the Army's Project Digger was first getting built I was invited along to film some burnout testing. As you can see the car wasn't finished but with time getting short before Summernats 23 they wanted to make sure it was right to go. Unfortunately, as a direct result of the testing they decided to not do any burnout at Summernats that year due to cooling issues. But it sure looked good. So for those that haven't seen it in action, here you go.

I've seen some crazy powerskid action in my time but this Torana takes the cake. With a big hit of Nitrous and a heavy right foot this guy smokes the full length of the track in and aesome display of skill and power. If you've got a better powerskid then send me a video response.





Forza loses wheel at WSID - drag racing crash
While doing a warm up burnout at WSID the FORZA HR sedan loses a back wheel. Shot at Supernats 2005.





V8 versus Rotor - R100 almost crashes
Mark Hayes in the Nitrous big block versus this turbocharged rotary. The rotary gets loose early on and almost crashes. Time for clean undies.





VL Commodore spins at 160mph+
Turn your volume up for this one. Watch as Max Ellery spins out at over 160mph in his VL Commodore. Clean undies were most probably needed afterwards.





Willys crash at WSID
This supercharged Willy's coupel is capable of 11sec quarters but during this run something goes wrong and the rear end locks up driving the car towards the other side of the track where it narrowly misses the other car.





Doorslammer Crash at WSID - heavy hit!
Initially I was filming the Pac Performance MX6 in the video because it was running some numbers that day, but I had to switch cars when this Ford Probe Doorslammer lost control and hammered the wall at around half track. Thankfully the driver stepped out without a scratch.

Queen St BMW running a custom Quad-rotor
Yep, this car runs a quad rotor engine, that four rotors in a row. It's not one of the famed 26B's but it is two 13B's bolted together. This was one of the early runs of the car, I'm pretty sure it's much faster now.
