"DC Plasma", Fiero EV, Does 155 MPH at Texas Mile
John Metric's DC Plasma EV, the quickest Pontiac Fiero on dragtimes.com, posted a 155 MPH speed in the standing mile on March 24, 2012 at the Texas Mile spring event. The car was built to run 1/8 or 1/4 mile and turns high 9s and mid 130s in the 1/4 mile. A few settings were tweaked slightly taller gears installed for the mile run.

DC Plasma gets a 155mph speeding ticket at the Texas Mile
Ride along inside DC Plasma while we get a 155mph speeding ticket during the Texas Mile standing one mile drag race. We raced at 1/2 power to keep the heat build up down. Still ran 134mph in the standing 1/2 mile and 155mph in the standing one mile drag race. It was the first EV to run the Texas Mile.

201 mph @ 6.94 sec - Lawless OCC Electric Drag Bike & Larry "Spiderman" McBride
The Lawless Electric Rocket bike piloted by Larry "Spiderman" McBride made history May 4, 2012 with a National Electric Drag Racing Association (NEDRA) DMC/A3 record run of 6.940 at 201.37 mph making it the first electric vehicle to break 200 mph in the quarter mile! The 355 volt Rocket bike was built by Lawless Industries and Orange County Choppers.
