Honda J Series V6 Valve Adjustment (Part 1) -EricTheCarGuy
Visit me at: http://www.ericthecarguy.com/ Forum discussion about this video: http://www.ericthecarguy.com/component/kunena/18-the-ericthecarguy-video-fo rum/33925-honda-j-series-v6-valve-adjustment-videos?Itemid=0#33925 Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iLdgivYwUiQ I've been asked about doing a video on this process since my first Honda valve adjustment videos came out almost 2 years ago. I was happy when this 2004 Acura TL 6 speed came in not just because it allowed me the opportunity to make this video but also because I think these cars are a lot of tun to drive. This is truly a step by step account of the valve adjustment procedure for the J Series engine. Remember it takes time to get the 'feel' for valve adjustments and it's better to go too loose than too tight. Here are links to the videos I mentioned in the movie that might also be helpful if you're servicing one of these J Series engines. Honda J Series V6 Valve Adjustment (Part 2) -EricTheCarGuy
Visit me at: http://www.ericthecarguy.com/ Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnyqVg3nWRk Forum discussion about this video: http://www.ericthecarguy.com/component/kunena/18-the-ericthecarguy-video-fo rum/33925-honda-j-series-v6-valve-adjustment-videos?Itemid=0#33925 Well here is part 2 of the J Series Valve Adjustment video. This is where the 'meat' is and we cover how to set up each cylinder as well as the adjustment itself. Remember this is a 'fine tuning' operation and really isn't meant to correct a problem unless the valves had been misadjusted in the first place. Also keep in mind that it's better to get the adjustment loose rather than tight so try to keep your adjustment on the loose side because if you get them too tight this can actually damage the valves, if they're too loose the worse you'll suffer is a lot of valve train noise. Either way try to do it right the first time because it's a lot of work to get back in there and readjust everything. I think you'll do fine should you attempt to do this job just take your time and double check everything. S2000 J35 V6 Engine Swap
Intercrew Auto Salon, Garland, TX J35 swap into a Honda S2000 OEM Honda J35A4 ECU AP2 transmission It starts, runs, drives, and is just plain UGLY, but it MOVES like no all motor Honda should. Preliminary Dyno = 269hp/286lbft @ the wheels. There's still a LOT of cleanup to do, but all the hard parts are out of the way. Enjoy!

J35 6speed Accord vs Built Subaru WRX STI Street Racer Crashed & Arrested - High Quality
J35 6speed Accord vs Built Subaru WRX STI Street Racer Crashed & Arrested. I fixed the original shakiness of the video taken. This idiot in the Accord posted this on a Forum and was turned in to police by fellow forum members. Here is a brief excerpt of what he posted about the video before he was arrested: "Racing the sti, I was winning, small turn the rear broke loose, I tried to correct it and the whole car spun out slammed into the railing bounced off flew across 4 lanes of the highway into the other guardrail. I started it up and drove it home. It looks like its just cosmetic but my steering is kinda fucked up as is my cf which flew up and smashed my windshield and the gaurdrail [sic] scraped the shit out of my BBS's. I'm gonna have to jack it up sometime this week and check the steering rack. I'm fine, my hands kinda fucked up but this is a lesson I had to learn the hard way, from now on I'm taking it to the track." Idiot. Check out this article to get the whole rundown and more of his incriminating evidence that ultimately got him arrested rightfully so! --------------------------- http://jalo.ps/KXQB5h
