Chinamans Road hillclimb Greymouth, westland car club August 2010
Chinamans road hill climb 15 August 2010, Westland Car Club, Greymouth, a great day with 8 runs on the 3.6km course.
The road looking a bit rough in places early on and a bit slippery improved as the day went on. With some fast sections and a few jumps / crests to test the nerves and then leading into som tricky tighter sections.First event for Graham Ferguson in his newly built BDA showing some excellent speed as he comes to grips with the new car picking up 5th place and first 2wd. Mike McMillan's Gt4 Celica, first event on the gravel and first time in a 4wd had him just piping James Stewart for 2nd place. Kevin Lynch ran clean and tidy for 4th place but the fastest on the day was Cleve Kokshorn in his ex. Haydon Paddon Evo 8. The day also saw 2 new drivers, Eddie Gray with the ex, Graham Ferguson (Derick Ason) FJ-MK2 Escort and Jasara Kokshorn in their Evo 5 all putting in a respectable effort and having a ball of a time.
