Let's take a ride: 1987 Mustang GT Cold Start, Run, and Drive

Decided to take you guys along for a ride in the 87 Mustang GT project. I like to run and drive the cars that are not used daily to keep their "blood flowing" for lack of a better term. Enjoy!

Cleaning Catalytic Converters With Soap and Water -EricTheCarGuy
This is my second attempt to clean a catalytic converter, this time with soap and water. I've heard this method can work so I thought I would give it a try. One that that's important with these techniques is to do the procedure properly. On both my first attempt with this one and my last attempt with lacquer thinner, I didn't do the procedure properly and as a result I was not successful. I speak to those points in the video. So, if you have a catalytic converter code and it's not all broken up inside, you might consider trying this technique. You really don't have anything to loose if you do. Related Videos. 5.0 Mustang Foxbody - but this dude is NUTS (1986 GT)
First let me start by saying that the 1986 Mustang GT is my absolute favorite "Foxbody" model.... period, lol. I love the '85 GT as well, but I much prefer the EFI over the carburetor (also the '86 has the 8.8 rear, bigger/better clutch and true dual Exhaust w/ H-pipe) ...but this car is WAAAAY over priced, lol, holy crap, lol. This fella is nuts!!! I am giving him the benefit of the doubt saying that I'd give $2,500 for it, because honestly I don't think I'd pay over $2,000 for it. If it was a 5-speed I might, but being an automatic and needed as much work as it does I'd probably be more around $1,800, lol. Shame too, because I'd love to pick up another 1986 GT model!!! If the price was right it would make a really nice project for someone.... just not me, lol. ...anyway, I thought this was worth sharing, lol. Produced by nedaCFilms / Mustang-Town 2014

So, I haven't drove the Mustang alot since we finished the top end build, so I decided to go for a cruise on Saturday morning. Weather was incredible, figured i'd take some videos. Hope you enjoy, even if you don't like the vid, please comment with the reason why...
