Tuner G 60 http://www.1ownercarguy.com Here is a very nice VW Corrado G60
that has the supercharged engine and 5-Speed Manual Transmission. This car
is fast and a blast to drive. This car is a 1 Owner and is completely
factory so you know no one has been messing around with it. The exterior is
in excellent shape. The paint looks great and except for a few minor chips
here and there there is not much to say bad about it. The interior is very
clean and shows hardly any wear at all. You can really tell how good the
car was taken care of by the condition of the interior. This is a great car
that is a blast to drive and gets great gas mileage.

The Volkswagen Corrado is a sports car developed by German automaker
Volkswagen, designed by Herbert Schaefer and built by Karmann in
Osnabrück, Germany, between 1 September 1988 and 31 July 1995. In 1990,
the Corrado went on sale in the United States.
Originally conceived as a possible successor to the Porsche 944, the
Corrado is a three-door hatchback coupé with a 2+2 seating layout. The
car's floorpan is based on the A2 platform (i.e. MK2 Golf/Jetta) and, with
the exception of VR6 models, all versions use the subframes, suspension,
steering and braking components from the A2 model range. The VR6 uses
suspension components from the A3 model range, including the rear axle
assembly and some parts of the A3's 'plus' type front axle assembly. The
subsequent wider front wheel-track of the Corrado VR6 necessitated the
fitting of new front wings with wider wheel arches and liners along with a
new front bumper assembly. Together with a new raised-style bonnet to
accommodate the VR6 engine, these body improvements were carried across the
Launched in late 1988, (three years before the end of Scirocco production)
All Corrados were front-wheel drive and featured petrol engines. It debuted
with two engine choices: a 1.8 litre, 16-valve, inline-four with 136 bhp
(101 kW; 138 PS), and a supercharged 1.8 litre, eight-valve inline-four,
marketed as the G60, and delivering 160 bhp (120 kW; 160 PS). The G60 is
named for the G-Lader with which it is equipped, a scroll Supercharger whose interior resembles the letter
G60 refers to an inline-four cylinder automobile petrol engine, which uses
a specific method of forced induction - by way of a specific type of Supercharger. The G60 engine was formerly
manufactured by the German carmaker Volkswagen Group, and was installed in
a limited number and range of 'hot hatch' cars from their Volkswagen
Passenger Cars marque from August 1988 to July 1993.

Fifth Gear's Jason Plato services Volkswizard's VW Corrado VR6 to see if can produce more power
In March 2013 we supplied Fifth Gear with a Corrado VR6 to see if following
a full service and some injector cleaner, whether it would produce more
power. The car was rolling road tested at our premises to get a base
reading after which some Redex injector cleaner was added to a full tank of
fuel. After this tank was used, the car was taken to Millbrook Proving
Ground where it was rolling road tested again and after each service item
was changed. Eventually the car nearly produced the full 190 bhp - what
the footage didn't state was that the car was run on 95 RON unleaded rather
than Super Unleaded which the car requires to produce full power - this was
done to avoid clouding the effectiveness of the Redex injector treatment as
Super Unleaded fuel contains similar cleaning properties.

Golf RSI 1200BHP BRUTAL acceleration inside
GOLF RSI SPECIFICATION:
From interview with HANS DAHLBACK dahlbackracing owner:
Yes, the infamous Golf may be able to put out 1,200 horsepower. Possibly. The
story that comes from Hans Dahlback, the owner of Dahlback Racing and the
mastermind behind these insane cars, is that the car, when running on a Dyno that bolts to the
hubs, produced well over 850 hp to the wheels at around 8,000 rpm before
the Dyno started
reading errors--and the car revs to upward of 11,000 rpm. Using a 15
percent drivetrain-loss calculation, at 8,000 rpm the car was over 1,000
flywheel horsepower. I'm making an
educated guess that the car produced another few ponies in the 3,000 rpm
Considering Dahlback claims the motor pulls strong until just under 11,000
rpm--with the power increasing dramatically in the last couple thousand
rpm--it's reasonable to assume, considering the extent the motor's power
curve was climbing at the point the Dyno stopped reading, that the
car would have likely gained another 100 or 200 horses in the remaining
available revs. You also have to keep in mind that Dahlback massively
underpromises any horsepower claim. I was told
by various people at Dahlback's shop that the Golf was producing
significantly more than 850 wheel horsepower on the Dyno, but Dahlback would only
confirm 850-plus hp, and thus that is what I worked my calculations from.
And yes, the car shoots flames out the side exit Exhaust during deceleration.
It was snowing most of the time I was in Sweden, so I didn't get to go for
a ride in the monster Golf, but I did watch quite a bit of track footage of
the car running in Stockholm--from what I saw, the car most definitely
produces 1,200 hp. What I did get to do, however, was rip the nose piece
off the Golf, put the car on a lift, and investigate why this VW is so
