Crankshaft Balancing Counter Weight Reduction
This big block Chevy engine is getting a trim job on the crankshaft counter
weights because we are installing some .400" longer connecting rods with
some very light forgerd pistons. We had to remove a total of 400 grams to
get the crankshaft to balance correctly. Costa Mesa R&D Automotive Machine

mile. Seriously we will try to arrange a rematch for the bike...So suscribe

Crankshaft grinding Eagle 4340 Forged SBC Crank
CPMotorworks, Inc of Janesville Wi shows what is needed to repair poorly
ground journals of an aftermarket crankshaft. We were able to remove .002"
from these main journals to correct the hourglass shaped journals that were
the result of a poorly dressed grinding wheel and over-polishing.
Watch as John @ Costa Mesa R&D Automotive Machine clearances a Mitsubishi
Evo IX block for an aftermarket strocker crankshaft and connecting rods.
