Moab Utah is a paradise for offroad enthusiasts. Each spring, thousands of offroad enthusiasts flock to the Moab Jeep Safari, organized by Red Rock 4 Wheelers. The participants range from families looking for nice desert trail drives to hard-core types wanting to push their vehicles to thier limits.
There are more than 50 offroad trails either privately owned or belonging to the Bureau of Land Management.

Taken July of 2009. My buddy was attempting to drive his Jeep across a small pond at the dunes in Silverlake MI. It looked like a "macho" moment, so I grabbed the camcorder. We had no idea that this would happen. It fluid-locked one of the cylinders and fried the engine in his 2007 Wrangler Sahara...about a $4K lapse in judgement.
