The video is about one of the most iconic rally car of the '70s: the Lancia
Stratos. Lancia presented the Lancia Stratos HF prototype at the 1971 Turin
Motor Show, a year after the announcement of the Stratos Zero concept car.
This car was powered by a mid-mounted Dino Ferrari V6 engine producing 192
hp. The production of the 500 cars required for homologation in Group 4
started in 1973 and it was finally homologated to race in the 1974 World
Rally championship. The Stratos rally car was moved by the same Ferrari V6
engine but a bit powered: 280 hp at 7800 rpm and 275 Nm of torque at 6000
rpm. Only 50 Stratos rally cars were built and it won the 1974, 1975 and
1976 championship titles in the hands of Sandro Munari and Björn

Lancia Stratos replica: is the Lister Bell STR kitcar better than the real thing?
The Lancia Stratos was a supercar like no other, but with just 492 built,
values are vast. So what if you could get then Stratos look, sound and pace
for £30k? Step forward Lister Bell STR kit car.

If there's one kit car capable of leaving us besotted, it's the Lister Bell
STR, a newly developed Lancia Stratos replica that is exquisitely put
together. The appearance is bang on, the attention to detail is
superb...and the driving position is better than the original's. Power
comes from a 2.5-litre Alfa Romeo V6, which makes the right noises and,
with about 190bhp, the right amount of shove. It steers and handles really
sweetly, too. That you could put a lovely one together yourself for less
than £30,000, or have a turn-key car for not much over £40,000, sent a
lot of our staffers away to examine their finances.

New Lancia Stratos Sound!
I have filmed the magnificent 2010 Lancia Stratos, a one-off supercar made
to celebrate the old glorious Lancia Stratos. The car has been commissioned
by Michael Stoschek and developed by Pininfarina. The base used to build
the car was the Ferrari 430 Scuderia, including many mechanical components
such as the chassis, gearbox and the 4.3L V8 engine tuned up to 532bhp.
The New Stratos weighs 1,247 kg (2,749 lb) and is claimed to accelerate to
62 mph in 3.3 seconds and on to a top speed close to 200 mph (320 km/h).
While shorter than its donor car, the New Stratos is a little larger than
the original Stratos, with a length of 4,181 mm (164.61 in), 1,971 mm
(77.60 in) wide and 1,240 mm (48.82 in) tall.
